Champions League Final | Ticket Criteria | SOLD OUT

I know it won’t happen but I’d love it if the first day of ticket sales for for cat 1 or A (the dearest) starting at whatever points accumulation and work down by the points in that section first then Cat 2 or B etc and so on. Gives everyone half a chance to get the price range that would suit them. Wouldn’t effect those at the top of the list either if they wanted a €70 ticket as they would know they’d be first to get them when that batch went on sale.

Most of the allocated tickets by uefa to the clubs will be 70e and 160e. Liverpool got 15,000 at them price ranges last season.

Wife is 40 on the 9th june(hopefully i'll be on a plane to Istanbul by then :-)) and its our wedding anniversary on the 4th the day after the FA cup final..i'm not in her good books :-(
We may never get this opportunity again mate, yet you can always get another Wife. Istanbul we are coming ….:)

The club didn't release porto info until past 5pm on the Friday 2 years ago so probably in for a couple hours wait still
Last time the Info was supposed to be released on Tuesday the day of Brighton away, but it was the Wednesday in the end, ticket criteria covered Thurs and Fri but was extended to early Sat.

It's Wembley next year of course but it will still have UEFA's premium pricing, and as virtually all blues would go if we got to the final, the CL Scheme for next season might be a sound investment, especially if you want to have any chance of securing one of the cheaper seats.
Is this a Bluemoon record? Discussing next year’s final ticketing before we have even played this year’s?

Anyone booked for Wembley 2024 yet? Some decent prices on the Premier inn / Ibis Wembley sites if you get in quick ;-)

I don’t think that’s correct. Around 50% of the club’s allocation is €180 tickets and next it’s the €490 tickets at about 30%.
There aren’t a huge amount of the €70 to begin with - I suspect they exist just so UEFA can claim tickets are affordable for the real fans.

Maybe, but just trying to lessen the blow for those blues, who simply cannot affords this year's shenanigans.

It's like a grown up version of what I used to tell the kids when I'd spent their Xmas present money of fags and booze! "Maybe Next Year", I'd say.

Sounds like the club will have zero say in anything like that. All they can do is try and be fair in how and when they dish out the codes and then presumably people can buy whatever category they want once they put their code into the UEFA site. Suspect Cat b will sell out fairly quickly.

I'll be having a look shortly - booked my Istanbul hotel 10th may 2022. Turned out ok.

Have you managed to find out the dates for the FA Cup semis and final next year? Can't find them listed anywhere yet

I’m on the cup scheme and have 86k points. I’m scared I won’t get a ticket for Wembley next year. Do you think I’ll get one?

I'll rephrase - You said that people need to secure tickets before being able to make travel plans. You also said that everyone is guaranteed a ticket. If people are therefore guaranteed a ticket, what is to stop them making travel plans now?
Nothing is stopping them but if the club don't make tickets available to as many as possible as quickly as possible then they WON'T KNOW that they are going to get tickets so won't make plans.

I'd be wary of booking any of the named hotels near Wembley as they tend to turf everyone out to accomodate UEFA's huge entourage. If I was securing a room for next year's final, I'd be looking at Central London instead

Yes, I'd agree with that. Which is why I said that they should not bother with the 18-25 tickets if it's too impractical, because it could eat up valuable time for everyone else whilst they try to work out a solution. This is especially pertinent if the 18-25s are virtually guaranteed tickets anyway as scheme members. I fear, however, that affordable travel from the UK has already all-but-vanished.

If you haven't already booked flights you are looking at over £400 with a stop both ways taking flight time to 10 hours or more, and also having to travel down South or up to Scotland. Direct from Manchester you are looking at close to £700 for Friday to Monday. If you can do longer and fly out earlier and come back the Tuesday you can get cheaper but still having to go to random airport and a stop We paid £170 each from Luton direct to Istanbul with Wizz on Wednesday night as soon as we got in from match. We fly out Wed until the Tues but that was fully booked and gone by Thursday lunchtime so even the thinking outside the box options are disappearing.

Maybe next year you won't have to worry about the date of your anniversary?
The funny thing is I remember that when we were chosing our wedding date 18 months in advance we picked June 10th as that couldn't possibly clash with football!

Imagine if that'd been this year! I'd have to had to hired a stunt double or something!
