I’m not sure about anything to be honest, but of the thousands that have already booked today I imagine a high proportion were hoping to get a ticket. You do realise most are going without a ticket don’t you ?

Yeah, the club would’ve had to be on a different planet not to know about Spike’s trips. They’ll know all about them for sure. Why the fuck haven’t City put out a statement they must know what has been agreed. And they must know that Spike running trips even if they are dumb enough to not think that hundreds have booked their own travel already. That’s assuming they are too stupid to check in on this forum from time To time
IF this happens then no way can they control 12k people, shuttling them to / from airports and fanzones. I can see the 6k for each club very quickly reducing to (say) 1k with the rest going to uefa / the capacity reduced..was this the plan all along?!how are they gonna marshal and control up to 12,000 fans into 2 seperate groups ?
it would be a nightmare
can porto airport deal.with 12,000 people flying in and returning later to fly out all.within 24 hours ?
it will be chaos
That's my thought too, govt ministers can only state the current position if they haven't finalised the new policy. The media, as ever, love a bit of scaremongering. It's totally inconceivable that the Portuguese govt. weren't heavily involved in the decision to host the final in Porto and the relevant ticket distributions. This has to surely be a bit of posturing from the Portuguese govt ahead of an expected easing of restrictions at the weekend.....I hope!
Well, I would hope so too. I was hoping collective fan action would help to leverage change but the "I'm alright Jack" brigade won't want to know. This has to surely be a bit of posturing from the Portuguese govt ahead of an expected easing of restrictions at the weekend.....I hope!
Got to be the case. Seems so far there’s no formal announcement from the tourism ministry and talks ongoing. The extension of the ‘state of emergency’ is about Portugal’s domestic rules, international travels rules are separate. At least I fucking hope soThat's my thought too, govt ministers can only state the current position if they haven't finalised the new policy. The media, as ever, love a bit of scaremongering.
