What’s the usual criteria for not being able to or want to go once got a ticket ?

personally for me I’m wanting to buy a cheap ticket then wait to see if my lad on 12k gets a ticket , but don’t think I’ll go if he doesn’t, but there may be scenarios where a covid test came back positive or you got it whist out over the weekend and you couldn’t go.
