Champions League Final | Useful Information

Wife is going to be on her own in Istanbul while I’m at the game.

Anyone know where a decent number of blues might be watching it around Taksim? She’s not sure if to do that or stick with Yenikapi screen but she’d need to get back to Taksim from there which doesn’t seem too safe later.

Anyone on one of the early shuttle buses from the transport hub who can let us know what they’re like? Cheers

What was the queuing time to get on?
No queue but that's because I got on one of the first buses to depart. Could be big queue later on. I said it takes 1hr 40 but it's closer to 2 hours now and I'm still on the bus!

Would recommend just getting on the bus to stadium asap. It's only going to get worse as the day goes on

All shuttles from airport are now to stadium. Apparently no food at stadium fan park? Yepanyaki park is basically a big school fete with generic muzak pumping out. Don’t understand why this can’t be a 3pm kick off. Finishing at potentially 1am here just seems barmy.

we got on shuttle from fan park approx 40 mins ago. queue then was around 30mins no beer or water allowed on bus. been sat in traffic for 30 mins UP THE BLUES

On the bus now at 4.30. Queued an hour to get on, queues likely to be longer than this now at Yenikapi. I will keep you updated on how long the journey takes but I'm anticipating 2 hours. No drinks or bogs on buses, some Turk copper even took my water off me.

Tried to get an Uber this afternoon direct from the apartment. It was about £20, I would've given him double that as a tip. All agreed cash price via the app and the **** tried to haggle me £150 once in the cab. Luckily got out before he locked the doors. Be vigilant blues and don't be afraid to crack heads, some of these Turks are an embarrassment to their country.

Stadium fanzone is ok…there’s food and it’s €7 for a can of Heineken, though they are kept in an ice bath. Imagine city square but sweatier.

Precious little shade though.

Took just short of 2 hours on the bus from yenikapi, a few got out and walked. There’s also, and not making this up, a guy herding goats as you come into the carpark
