Reminder: Jupp Heynckes won nothing in 2011/2012. Lost the league to Dortmund, lost 5-2 to Dortmund in cup final & lost CL final to Chelsea

I am not judging Pep yet.

This reminds me on "Alex Ferguson won nothing, don't judge Moyes yet" :D

Not comparable of course but similar..

-- Tue Apr 29, 2014 11:18 pm --

Ronaldo is most complete football player ever.
Complete goalscorer yes, complete player no.

He isn't even the most complete player in that team. Modric for one is a more complete footballer.

Modric is top class but that is an utter nonsense, lol.

Again if you had a clue you would realise that managing a football club is a lot more than just getting tactics right. Hell if you had any management experience at all you would realise this.

Man management
Inspiring players
Keeping discipline
Organisation
Coaching 'technical skills' etc

These are just some of the things as important as tactics. Wenger may be tactically weak, but he is clearly an unbelievable coach and gets the vast majority of his players to improve. Few people have gone to Arsenal and not improved as a player.

Mancini was great tactically, but ultimately he lost his job due to falling out with people.

If you think every successful manager is fantastic tactically then once more it shows how little you know about football clubs.

Are you not getting this???

It's widely accepted that

A) you're a knob
B) you're smacked off your tits

Oh and

C) you support palace

Be gone sphincter

Crystal pal give it a rest. Honest.

I fell out with Zim and was told by another poster who tells us often he is 6 foot 10, has a 56 inch chest that he wouldn't fight him ever.

Kidding Zim. But to fair Crystal does usually know his shit.

He may do mate, however, I disagree, that's the beauty of a forum

And size is but a number, magnified by 10 on here (:

To judge a manager and expect him to get his philosophy over to "his" squad in such a short period of time is just ludicrous.

You only have to pop over to the MP thread in the main forum to see the loons that post in there to evidence this

Thought I was the only crystal on here - hmmm :(

Unsung hero tonight was clearly Modric, really solid performance and no nonsense !!!
+1. First leg also.
Very happy camper tonight, backed both real centre halves to score first (set pieces) then switched to the tranny **** for the rest of the match, 3/5 ain't bad, especially when boylesports are paying 56/1 on Ramos.

How?

Ronaldo scores loads of goals, but that's it. Why does this myth of him being a complete player continue to be regurgitated? Is it because he's heavily built but can still run fast or something?

Modric can do everything at both ends of the pitch. Ronaldo scores goals. It's not even a slant on Ronaldo, obviously he's great at what he does. But there are literally hundreds, if not thousands of players more complete as footballers than him.

It is hard to see how someone who does literally no defending can be considered a "complete player", I agree
