Kolarov will be more use with Bony in the side he's probably our best crosser of the ball and at least now he'll have a target.

well one of thoes unnatural covers is zabba who is probably a better left back than kolorov is anyway and id argue that sanga is better defensively anywhere than kolorov as well

It would be good if the delay were due to City and PSG debating with UEFA as to whether the player restriction applied for the whole season or only to the end of 2014. No harm in wishful thinking.

That is a good point and one that has been overlooked by some in this thread.
Even it is is for more ie for 4 games its likely we will have injuries that include one or more of the squad that MP chooses and we must have 17 available for each game.
I think he will leave Dzeko out the squad should he choose Bony.
Does that mean that despite Dzeko resigning he will be on his way in the summer even if he is in the squad?
I think he will move on in the summer regardless
I and anybody should have no complaints about Dzeko should the club and or he decide to move on in the summer.
I am happy for him to stay but I think he will move on.
I can see at least 6 players who played more than 5 games for us this season in the starting eleven moving on in the summer provided all criteria for the change of clubs are met.

if i was chasing a game I wouldnt bring on Kolorov at all! I would bring on jovetic to change it about a bit.....
dzeko is now third choice to BOny and aguero in my opinion so they will occupy the loan striker role if needed . jovetic as i said can add what silva and nasri do from an attacking midfield point of view.....
it should be dzeko or kolorov

Zabaleta would be far less effective going forward on the left and we know Clichy can't attack very well, so why deprive ourselves of our ONLY direct attacking option on the left? Kolarov has been bobbins but he is unique for us and could find form at any point, so I think it's correct to keep both proper left-backs and both proper right-backs. If you're chasing a game you want Kolarov as a left-sided option more than Zabaleta.
The only debate for me was: Dzeko or Jovetic? Assuming we plan to play a lone forward, then I guess that role suits Dzeko more in the event we need to use him rather than Aguero or Bony.

I suspect, as our squad is subject to sanctions, that we probably have to abide by a slightly different set of rules. UEFA, as part of the sanctions, probably have to verify, and ratify, the squad before it's made public.

I've always felt FIFPRO should have a lot more to say on this. Denying a member a potential Champions League medal and glory sounds like grounds for legal action to me.

Should be and I am very confident it will be however he might not Bony in the squad that is the wild card.
I agree totally Jovetic for all his frailties is the only player who can raise the tempo that would likely occupy a place on the bench.
If we need to save the game I would play Dzeko in the Drogba role.
I am confident both Kolorov and Dzeko will leave us in the summer.
Their contributions to the club during their stay have been excellent.
The future of City is passing them by quickly and they will get soft tissue injuries that they haven't in the past and will take along time to recover from them given the way we play and MP wants us to play as time goes on.
