I've always felt FIFPRO should have a lot more to say on this. Denying a member a potential Champions League medal and glory sounds like grounds for legal action to me.

Only just thought of this. Imagine if we won it and the player who gets dropped from the squad misses out on a medal. Now I'm starting to think it would be harsh on either kolarov or dzeko to miss out seeing as they've been here for a few seasons.

Perhaps an issue relating to spending and wages cap on named squad? Assumptions about Negrado money being allowable being questioned now perhaps?

With Our Injury problems upfront, we need 4 strikers - For me its Sagna.

Zabaletta despite a couple of wobbles is still the first choice right for me, especially against the likes of Barca and whoever thereafter.

If he gets injured, we have Milner who can do a job there, Clichy played there during Pre-Season, meaning Kolarov can step in at Left Back, or even Mangala push out to Left Back as he did at Porto. T

here is enough scope in the defensive players in our side to deal without a spare fullback who truth be told probably wouldnt get a game.

i would most certainly say that Zabba is not Pellers first choice for the likes of Barca and so. he has used sagna against both Hazard and Ribery, quick tricky left wingers so I would assume he would use Sagna against Neymar

I think this decision means Jovetic will be the first player to leave City this summer.

Probably the best decision really

He won't offer anything against a side like Barcelona

And can you imagine the uproar if he got selected ahead of say Dzeko, but then got injured in the next few weeks, leaving us with only two strikers
