Cheating Refs

OK, by your logic...
The referee gets the decisions correct, we still lose the game?

No, it really isn't. To say the ref was solely responsible would be delusional, as would saying Kompany's mistakes were, but to suggest that both of those things made a massive impact on the game in entirely rational.

Bit of ref - bit of Kompany - same result mate !

Knew beyond all doubt that he was going to fuck us after he booked Garcia for a challenge in which he won the ball fairly in the first half.

Genuinely hope he's the sole fatality in a horrible car accident tonight, well maybe make an exception for Tyler, head on collision between the two please.
Terrible thing to say

Cars will be damaged
Haha

There was no excuse whatsoever for not sending Suarez off. That would undoubtedly have made a difference. Wholly responsible? Maybe not, but he had a huge hand in it, the cheating bastard.

The ref was not responsible for the defeat today.

What the ref WAS responsible for is not applying the law.

Suarez, on a yellow, dived. It was as clear a yellow for diving as you could expect to see.

I don't know what would have happened if Suarez had been sent off, as he should have been. But they would have been playing for 35 minutes with 10 men. We were cheated out of having the opportunity of finding out.

Against Bayern, we got beaten. Against Chelsea, we got beaten. Against wigan, we got beaten.

I don't feel beaten today, I feel cheated.

Bullshit. I expect better from a Blue.

True though - they had a goal declared offside that was onside - delude yourself all you want mate but the fact is that refs make mistakes - sometimes it goes for us and sometimes it's against us. You can 'expect better' all you want but it's still true

They didn't have a goal declared offside at all. They had a player flagged for offside. The whistle went, our players stopped playing, sterling kicked the ball in the back of the net. If the whistle hadn't gone before the ball went in the net you might have a point.
Yes not a disallowed goal, whistle went clearly before he carried on and kicked the ball into the net, but we've never heard the end of it, will we get "City should of had a clear penalty in the last minutes" for the next couple of months, or will it just get brushed under the carpet in the next couple of days ?

Clattenberg awarded 3 pens to Liverpool at the swamp and none were really any clearer than the ones he missed today ,he has previous with Liverpool and should never have got the game today ...fully justifiable me being concerned about him being appointed.
By the way the worst decision was not to give Suarez a second yellow for that ridiculous dive , he's seen it then given a free kick so why has he not sent him off ?

The decisions NOT taken were the crucial ones. Three giveable penalties, a mandatory yellow card for diving and Suarez would miss a game. It affects Liverpool directly. We play a substantial part of the match against ten and their preparation for the next fixture is undermined. It throws more uncertainty into the title run-in, and disadvantages the Dippers. He's given them one of the most obvious leg-ups a team could wish for. He's not gifted them a pen, he's not over-ruled a lino offside but he has materially altered the course of a game! He is responsible for a dereliction of whistling duty. Unfortunately we have idiots like Tyler who think he did a good job.

Suarez should have walked and missed the next game. Not even up for debate.

That was the mistake for me.

The first penalty shout for me was very debatable. Dzeko made a right dogs bollocks of making that look like a foul.
The handball, nobody appealed for and clearly easier to see on tv. Didn't see the other one as having a piss!

They could have had one too.

The ref is there to ensure fairness and apply the laws and punishments in a consistent manner. Some decisions are subjective and based on opinion What modern refs do is decide if a foul in the box is worthy of a pen even though this is not in their remit, it is clear what Clattenburg did today especially the Dzeko decision However, there is clear instruction that a player who is simulating should be booked and the fact he gave a free kick against Suarez means he HAS to book him. Given that he was also guilty of numerous dives and appeals for fouls not given and showed decent following means there is an even stronger case to book him Clattenburg didn't do his job and he favoured Liverpool everytime too much of a coincidence in my book

who was the **** ref who sent Bellamy off for a second yellow "dive" even though he was fouled?

I hate to say it but we need cheat more. How do you think Suarez or Sturbridge would have reacted to Sakho challenge on dzeko? They would have embellished the contact then hounded the ref good chance they would have had a peno.

All the top teams do it well apart from us. The moral way is to win through better play and good manners. Fuck that. Look at all the successful teams, rags last year, Barcelona, Real Madrid, bayern, they all fucking dive and embellish and cheat. We will win nothing of note with the good guy attitude.

Sorry mate but I couldn't disagree more. There is a lot more to football than trophies and we as blues know that more than most. Don't care how ''small time'' this is but I could stand to see City go years without a trophy but I couldn't stand to see us cheat our way to a title like Suarez is trying to do.
