Somethings off, might just be getting back to being a team again (not a country) or the fact it’s January (Bernie?) either way KDB KW Joao Phil Bernie Gundy look well off it, with a number of others short too, as well as the injuries to Laporte & Dias, leaving the side very thin in terms of consistent performers, Ake & Stones are holding this team together at the minute

and countless records broken along the way, and STILL this post match thread is full of idiots questioning the greatest club manager in the world.

It's not like the first time we've had dips in form, and it's a tricky and long season with the World Cup break in between and players having played with different coaches and teams, along with the fact that we're almost playing a cup final every week with teams packing their defence and raising their game to try to beat us. What exactly the fuck do you people expect?
 
Second half city would have thrashed first half's city, great to see pep making changes right away and being proactive with subs, Rico was wonderful and changed the momentum, and Mahrez showing his importance to this city side and squad again, wonderful cameo from Grealish too
 
Great win but a horrible performance, bar twenty minutes at the start of the 2nd half. That first half shambles was all on Pep, asking players to play in unfamiliar positions, why the fuck does he do it it never works and never will.
Cancelo and Walker were utter wank but both were trying to play in the same position, it was absolutely awful stuff.
2nd half we came out flying and were very good for 20 mins, then reverted to shiteness again nearly giving them an equaliser.
We have to get a lot better because that was gash tonight, a better team would have spanked us.
John Stones, superb and the only player worthy of motm

Do you have to …. You’re so predictable & boring. Pity you weren’t around for the season we had to beat Gillingham - you’d have a sense of perspective
 
Fuck knows what the boss is planning or trying to do post world cup, but a win is just that and it’s 2 points gained to the top. Improvements are needed but I’m sure/hope they will be.

Is Pep’s Cancelo experiment a shout at the board to go and get a proper left back, if we do where does it leave Cancelo? I’ve said before his performances have dropped slightly since the robbery at his house, wouldn’t be surprised if he goes back abroad (not saying I want that)

Kev & Rodders need a rest on Saturday with our fixtures coming up.
