Mane is going through the exact same thing for the dippers at the moment.. literally nothing coming off for him and overthinking everything.

is Mane shit? Nah he’s the real deal.. as is Sterling. Both will be back.

worth baring in mind just how awful Bernie was last season.. people seem to forget that.. he also wasn’t ‘that’ good in his debut season for us either.. in fact he’s only been absolute top level for us for one full season and cost similar money to Sterling yet gets nowhere near the flak. You don't rotate in the semi final of any competition and this stage of a season you play your best team all of the time. Two games a week is not too much to ask of professional athletes and playing players who are clearly not good enough or others who look like they don't want to be there is poor management.

No mate, they won the away leg in Portugal 2-0 and lost 1-0 at home mid week

They played in Southern Spain

Ake was a strange buy for us, as he has the turning-speed of an oil tanker in rough seas. Good in the air though, but being kept out of the side by Mendy is a bad omen!

Looks a weird one now buying ake , think stones was gone at the point we bought him , now with stones resurgence, ake’s is an expensive and largely unnecessary 4th choice cb .

Pep has to stop changing 7 or 8 players, win the next 6 games with our best 11 every time and we will have the Prem and league cup done and will be in champs league final.

Several players have proved they are so out of form they can't be considered as first choice at the moment.

The worse thing we can do now is rest players for the Villa game.

Best team every game until trophies are won.

tbh we’ve assembled the biggest and probably most expensive squad around for this reason so we can play them in domestic cups and get rest to other players whilst challenging for all trophies , what other team can rest players and bring in cancello Mendy and Laporte all costing over 50 mill each .
Peps gotta play them we’ve got a huge squad we gotta keep players happy and keep first team players fresh , only problem is at the moment every time we make all these changes the players coming in are playing shit for lack of a better word hence the Leeds and Chelsea performance.
Earlier in the season players were coming in and it was business as usual .

I agree about Cancelo but I think Rodri has been fine. Wasn't at his best today but has had a good season. The 2 DMs today just didn't work. Completely nullified us going forward, especially as KDB was pretty poor as well.

I'd like to see us go back to a 3 of Rodri, Gundogan and Bernardo. Worked very well earlier in the season and they seem to complement each other well.

Maybe Cancelo is one of those players that needs to play pretty much every game to maintain his form.

The double pivot has never worked and the outcome is always the same!

Mendy needs to be got rid of...anyway possible.....he is the worst signing of the Mansour era (as bad as Mangala and at least he tried)
