Performance wasn't great but didn't lose, we will still win the league imo
And you lot will be flapping like fuck soon on the run in enjoy 3rd/4th place again son.Admittedly, you’ve been hugely successful this last decade and to be fair, I’ve really enjoyed the quality of football you’ve played. I suppose my favourite City team was when Aguero and Silva were in the team. Sublime stuff. However, nothing lasts forever, dynasties come and go and I might be proven wrong but I feel yours is coming to an end.
Nothing against City, per se, but it’s hard to maintain that consistency for years.
I applaud your style of football and the success it brought but to be honest, you are Johnny Come Latelys…you still lag the legacy of the ‘Red Shirts’. Where were you pre 2012?
Didn't they bribe their way into the top flight?Jonny Come Latelys?
Fucking prick
Manchester City won a Trophy:
4yrs before ManUnited
26yrs before Arsenal
51yrs before Chelsea
FA Cup 61yrs before LFC
First club to win a domestic and European cup double and we have now done it twice
So who are the Jonny come latelys now
City also never bribed other clubs to stay in top flight
If we had another midfielder like Kova on instead of Alvarez I really think we win this game, we helped Chelsea & gave them so much space in the middle
I didn’t think the Walker one was a penalty to be honest because he did put his leg across Sterling, I do think the last shout was more of a penalty because his hand seemed to flick the ball away, plus he had a right grab of Dias shirt in the jump.Wow will Rodders be getting into trouble with the FA after his remarks in the BBC MOTD interview about the referees?
“I don’t wanna talk about the ref but I don’t remember a game with so many VAR challenges. No one is for us, … always move on, move on”.
Well said Rodri. I’m with you. Don’t care what the pundits said on MOTD. I agree about the Walker/Sterling one but the shirt pulling and pushing in the box should have been a penalty in my opinion.
Plus what’s with the angst about that team from the wrong end of the East Lancs and their injuries? Don’t remember them fretting about our injuries to that extent.
Pep got that one wrong again too.Horribly like Porto, actually.
Just venting their frustrations.Disappointing how quickly some posters turn on the team or individual players, particularly after the run we’ve been on. Some are acting like we’re out of the title race. There’s always a knee jerk after a setback but FFS let’s keep some perspective.
Erm, not quite gone yet.Sorry, but this is all on Pep, soon as I saw that team I knew we were fucked. Rest Stones and Bernardo in game vs Brentford. Why the fuck would you put Foden super glued to right touch line against Chelsea to accommodate Alvarez?
Title is gone , because arsenal and Liverpool will take some stopping.
With the last paragraph I only caught it because I had rewound the 'tape' from last night's MOTD to look for Rodri's remarks again to quote them properly and hadn't pushed it far enough and saw the big poster type thing come up on the screen (I had a cuppa in my hand and couldn't put it down fast enough to push the programme onward!!) and my immediate thought was oh and what about our injuries. I didn't listen to anything they said though. I also rarely watch any other games apart from ours. I record it so I can flick through. :-)I didn’t think the Walker one was a penalty to be honest because he did put his leg across Sterling, I do think the last shout was more of a penalty because his hand seemed to flick the ball away, plus he had a right grab of Dias shirt in the jump.
I can’t comment about the last paragraph because I never watch them. I cannot stand the media love in.
Newcastle 2 City 3 wasn’t that entertaining enough for you.At least if nothing else it was entertaining. We haven’t had many of them this season. The three best games have probably been 3 we have drawn!
