Fern was awful against Chelsea in the semi, mount had him chasing shadows. Other than a complete moment of madness rodri was pretty decent imo

What's that got to do with his comments about the ref being consistent being totally incorrect though? The difference is, he was giving Chelsea loads of those calls and barely any to City. That's not consistency, it's the opposite.

Certainly hope you're right, at the very least it's embarrassing. I've watched this team for 60 years and even if we won nothing else it would still have been an incredible decade.

If only that would be the actual case but I dont think it will be

I can see Pep continuing to rotate in the prem and I wouldnt put it past him to have. brain fart in the final...like picking Mendy!
 
Having calmed down a bit after feeling both gutted and furious earlier the main thing I am taking from this game is the abject passivity of so many of the players out there today. They may not be current regular starters but the chance to be a part of the side that clinches the Premier League title should be a huge incentive to give it everything you've got but so many did fuck all.

Baffling.

On a psychological perspective I agree with you mate, but football is strategy and psychology.

Based on your reasoning, we know that Tuchel knows how to beat our second string. He’s done it twice.

But we don’t know if Tuchel knows how to beat our first eleven.

Thinking we know that Tuchel doesn’t know how tp beat our first eleven here is conjectural, fed by our faith that City is one if not the strongest football team. That on our best day we are unbeatable.

What if he knows and is just waiting for the CL final to prove it.
 
As poor as we were today , the blatant penalty on Sterling and the shirt pull on Rodri that gifted them possession for their winner both decisions should have gone to VAR and the referee told to look at the pitch side monitor.
But look on the brightside , the Dippers are now playing in the conference next season

We've not shown Chelsea our best hand, and even with our second string and a game that was important enough for them to need to win they've only just scraped it. 2nd goal was a fluke, first one not much better, we should have socred a pen and had another one. Fine margins I know, but I saw nothing there for us to worry about in the final.

Exactly . Imagine if we had lost but hadnt had any chances at all and had offered nothing by way of competing. Then we could genuinely moan and bitch . They were certainly only marginally better than us today and a couple of mistakes even a couple of players not 100% up to the required level cost us this game. But that was about it. Annoying, frustrating and even disheartening but not life threatening. There is every chance we go on and beat them in the final and also wrap up the league next Friday. Pick ourselves up by the scruff of the neck blues and get this game out of our heads ASAP. Roll on next Friday.

He was also doing fucking fine seeing as he was on his own. He was not to blame at all. Sergio was all about himself. Cancelo has been a mard arse for weeks because he cannot get in the team. Also Mendy is a blanmange. Wobbly arse and should only be reeled out if everything is fine and dandy.

You look at match going city fans 50 and over very very few will post shit after games on here, we’ve been to hell and back watching city we are blessed to have owners players and a manager like we have

Today we was opening them up easy with simple through balls and they wasn't really a threat going forward till late on in the game same in the fa Cup they have beat our shite second team twice by one goal, we could of easily won that today if Aguero wouldn't of been a dick.

Our second team is way off our first, they have no plan and don't show enough character.

I know its a final and anything can happen but if we play how we did against PSG and show the passion we did in the semi I can only see a win for us.
