Well please provide the proof? What you are doing is giving your opinion. I have a different opinion.

No proof needed, just a grasp on the realities of modern day football.

For the record, i love the FA cup and fucking despise the CL so in my heart, i hate what went on yesterday but i get it 100% and fully appreciate the thought process that went into deciding why the FA cup was thrown under the bus.

In every business I have been connected with important matters have been discussed and not just left to one person. It is inconceivable that Pellegrini alone would have made the decision without others being involved in that decision. It is a fact that the CL is very important to the club and we may still get knocked out but it doesn't diminish its importance.
He is in charge of the first team, so he makes those decisions.. he might have told others what he was doing. But i doubt he would ask for permission.

And if we dont beat Kiev. Will he still be vindicated ?

No. And I see the point that you're leading me towards. It's not unreasonable. But I consider it like this...

Playing a strong side in FA Cup, in this particular situation = trying to roll 5 or 6 on a dice.

Playing a weak side in FA Cup, in this particular situation = trying to roll 3, 4, 5 or 6.

When you take our injuries, our form, our potential success this season and the long term goal of trying to rule the world of football... he's made the right gamble, win lose or draw. But no, he certianly won't be vindicated if we lose on Wednesday. And he take a lot of flak, which is way this results-based business goes. But I still support his decision.

FA Cup being a better competition in terms of history, storylines, magic, romance, less corrupt... none of that matters a jot when it comes to the MCFC, which trumps everything in football. We have to do what's best for the club.

It will be interesting to see the reaction on here,if things go tits up this week.
It doesn't change the validity of the original decision. He made a judgement before the games. If things go tits up you can't use hindsight to say it was a bad decision partly because you cant know the result of the alternative, we could have lost and had injuries, nobody knows. Also you make a best judgement, if you decide to walk on the pavement and get knocked down by a car mounting the pavement, people can't then use hindsight a say the decision to walk on the pavement was wrong.

We could have also won, had no injuries and given them confidence to go and win the next 2... a bit like the run we had when we won the league !!

Considering the health of our squad i dont know why pellers is being criticised for his decision, in current situation we are basically one more injury away for throwing away any chance of progressing in CL and throwing away little chance we have for pl. Moreover we shouldnt forget how much injury prone aguero and kompany are both of whom are our last hope for this season.
I would really like to add few fa cups to our trophy cabinet but can do with league cup for this year

lets hope

So Manuel has done what's best for the club has he? Utilising all of the resources at his disposal is best for the club not just throwing them into the mix in a big FA Cup game once a fucking season. May i suggest all he cares about is his fucking self no more no less.
