Was really surprised he moved to Monaco. I was really sure he would move to England, either us or Chelsea. He is really suited to the PL, a physical type of forward like Tevez, not a finesse kind like shevchenko. He would flourish in our league.

The whole Falcao transfer was pretty suspicious and they seem to have set it all up to allow him to move in January. Will be interesting to see what happens. God help whoever doesn't get him if he moves to the Prem.

Madrid I should think. That would be the only reason to set up the transfer that way, since he couldn't move directly from Athletico to Real.

I agree, this has Madrid written all over it. But this would certainly be one of the more sinister moves they've pulled since the whole transfer to Monaco would have lined a lot of pockets illegitimately.

If this is true, it doesn't make Mourinho look too clever in loaning Lukaku. Eto'o was always a high risk signing because his main asset was his pace and at 32 you'd have to think that was fading.

Would be unusual for Cameroon to sub their main man so maybe he was hurt during the game? Brings into doubt journo's claims though
