Mourinho

Looks disinterested, he's changed so much from the last time I remember him in England.

Chelsea 5 points worse off on a like to like basis. Arsenal and us 3 points worse off. Rags level.
You comparing this year's orange to last year's apple? We beat Reading but we lost away at Southampton and drew at West Ham. Last year's best Championship team is not necessarily this year's best ex-Championship team. That said, the display at Cardiff was atrocious, but there were mitigating circumstances.

why did Chelsea not sell Luiz when they had the chance?

Chelseas starting 11 should be -

Cech
Ivanovic-Cahill-Terry-Cole
Ramires-Lampard
Mata-Oscar-Hazard
Eto'o

Luiz is not their problem, the people in front of him are. He steps out when the midfielders are pulled out of position. Infact the only goal they scored today, it was because luiz stepped up with the ball and played that through pass to Lampard.

Mourinho went through an enormous psychological and emotional battle in Spain with the feuds and politics and I think that has taken a lot out of him.

Not the same man.

Possible. I thought he should take a time out rather than jumping back in at Chelsea. I just get the impression they didn't really want him and he didn't really want them - it was almost a step back for both of them but they were both stuck and sort of drifted back together through lack of alternative options.

That they didn't go for a top class striker is beyond me. As soon as they didn't strengthen, apart from the one area where they are not exactly short of options, I just couldn't see them mounting a serious challenge in the PL.

It will be interesting to see how it pans out.
