I'm hard pressed to think of a more self-centred player at Chelsea.

Hmm, we’ll see. I think he’s part of the toxic environment that has been renowned with the dressing room down there. Will I stay, will I go, etc.
He has always maintained he was going to stay. This summer is the outlier. Courtois, on the other hand, has always talked about wanting to live in Madrid.
Hazard is the least toxic person at the club, from what I can tell.
If Madrid want him but the fee is to high and Hazard knows they want him can’t see him signing a new contract because if he does his dream move has gone.
That is my worry, but Real Madrid wait another year for him? Next summer one of Mbappe and Neymar could be available. I always felt it was now or never for Hazard to move to Madrid.

That is how mild mannered I view him. He is a calm family man who just happens to be one of the best in the world at playing football.

What does the player want? For me any player who says something like "if Real speaks then you have to listen", is inviting an offer. We've seen this before and usually the player gets his wish.
Chelsea will never get 200 mil for him. He's not that good. So is the club already in the 'let's see how much we can get mode"?

I don’t remember Silva pulling a similar stunt to Hazard when he switched clubs. Up there with Griezmann and his “I’m staying” documentary.He is no more self centred than David Silva, for example.

Yeah fair shout about Mbappe if that’s there main target Hazard will sign a new long term contract on mega money and he be worth it.

Apparently Real Madrid found Chelsea's 200m valuation too high and have ended their interest. The key thing now is to get Hazard to sign a new contract.

He'll also be 5 months short of turning 29 by the time season 2019/2020 kicks off. I have always maintained that if Hazards move to Madrid doesn't happen this summer, it won't happen period. I'm fairly confident he'll sign a new contract.
