It'll be a miracle if Sari guides this side to a Top 4 finish - not that he's a bad manager - but that he's inherited a disinterested side that does not fit his play style at all; and God only knows what they do for quality players at center back - Luiz, Rudiger, Cahill, oh my!

It really won’t.

Chelsea will be fine. You could actually see glimpses of what they might be in the months to come. If Sarri is given time he will make them champions again. Not this season, maybe not next, but he will do well with them.

And don’t rule them out for a trophy this season either.

I think judging a side that's in its relative infancy of trying to play a rather high end and rather unique version of possession football after a match with another side that also plays a rather high end and rather unique possession football side; except that second side also just won the league breaking records along the way; is somewhat pointless.


Let's see how Chelsea do against teams that give them the ball i.e the teams they'll play most weeks.


If they can avoid anything like repeating our first October under Pep, I imagine Chelsea will be fine. I do suspect they'll get a battering at some point off someone (Maybe in the 4 shots, 4 goals way). Would be interesting to see how they'd bounce back from that.

I think we all underestimate the importance of Kante. He honestly can transform a mediocre side it a very competitive one.

He is like adding 1.5 players to a team.

Chelsea's squad is terrible bar few player. It is indeed a miracle if they finish top 4. Whole club is in turmoil. Courtois now going AWOL to force exit as well.

Pedro and Morata are shocking in the press - it is so half-hearted and so easy to play out against. Jorinho was basically left holding the can on his own in midfield - Fabregas was useless when City had possession, Barkley just lacks the tactical awareness and discipline to play at this level. Again, it has been 3 weeks and we were missing our 2 best players.

You should have left it at, Pedro and Morata are shocking...

Much too early to draw sweeping conclusions on Sarri. Depends on the patience of the heirarchy but Sarri's approach will ultimately show results & signs are already there

I do like Pedro tbh. I think he'd be a decent squad player to have around.
