I would have told you to stop being silly if you had told me last week or last month that Chelsea would be challenging.

Out aim to secure top 4. Sign more players. It took a city a season and plus 2 or 3 transfer windows of buying the right players for Pep to create the team he wanted. Sarri has had 3 weeks. Hardly the time to reach damning conclusions.

Top 4 will be difficult. Lots of uncertainty at Chelsea.

Courtois has one year left on his deal. Didn’t realize he was only 26!! Either you sell him now or lose him for free next season. Real are probably happy to wait it out.

Hazard has two years left, I think he’ll stay but by the end of the season his value will drop significantly.

Sarri prefers 4–3-3, so I’m not sure what his first choice midfield will be. You now have 3 DMs, Kante, Bakayoko, and Jorginho. Other midfield options are Drinkwater and Barkley, and Fabregas.

Their is not much time left to make necessary signings. You were linked with Koulibaly, Rugani, Higuain, Mertens yet have signed none.

Looks like Sarri is expected to work miracles. He’s a great manager but he’s not being backed to create a team in his own image.

It took more than 2 or 3 windows, we knew we wanted Pep and had played a similar style before him, players like Sterling and Debruyne were brought in with Pep in mind. The issue for you is will Sarri be given time and if not will you completely change style of play again?

Courtois can leave. He's very good, but his weakest area is ball distribution, and I don't think he has ever hit the heights of his Atletico loan spell. I will not shed any tears if he goes. Also, £35m is nothing in today's market, so i'd rather keep him for another season and lose him for free next summer - that gives another 12 months to find a replacement.

I think Hazard will sign a new contract. Next summer he will have a year left, but he'll also be 28 and I think Madrid will have 12 months to run their media propaganda on Neymar or Mbappe. For Hazard and his Madrid dream, the ship has sailed now.

In midfield, we MUST sign another midfielder - Jorginho, Kante and a new midfielder is how to we need to enter the season - someone like Ramsey would be ideal for the 3rd midfield slot. None of Barkley, Bakayoko, Drinkwater are good enough, while Fabregas' legs are gone - though he could be a great impact sub.

I'm hoping we land a good midfielder, whilst also getting Martial. That would be ideal. but I'm not hopeful

That remains to be seen. I personally do not think Abramovich will give him endless time to get it right, so Sarri will have to work his magic quicker than he did with Napoli.

That maybe the case with Courtois because it will be hard to find a replacement so quickly if he were sold, on the other hand will the club want to throw away £35m? As they will have to invest at least that much, probably more in a replacement.

Hazard may as well stay, but he said he wants to be surrounded by good players, signaling to the club that they should bring in top quality additions. So far only Jorginho has come in, and the transfer window is open only for a few more days. If you miss out on top 4 or just barely make it, I don’t see him signing a new deal, quite the opposite in fact, he will push hard for the last big move in his career.

If Jorginho and Kante are two of the three midfielders. IMO the third needs to be a goal scorer that also creates. Ramsey has that in his locker but he’s really inconsistent and has had some injury problems.

I really don’t understand what’s going on behind the scenes. Chelsea is running the risk of becoming a club that fights for the top 4 not the title. I don’t want this to be the case as I’d rather we fight Chelsea for titles than Liverpool or the rags.

If it was up to me, I'd forego that 35m and keep Courtois until next summer - that gives Chelsea 12 months to find a replacement rather than taking the 35m now but zero time to find someone else. I don't think Courtois will be that big of a loss. As I said, I don't think he ever replicated his Atletico form in a Chelsea shirt.

Hazard has also said he only wants to leave for Real Madrid, and when we get to next summer, Hazard will most likely drop back down to 3rd choice for Real Madrid behind Neymar and Mbappe, and I think they will finally manage to land one of them, ending any chances Hazard ever had of joining them - I have always said I think it's this summer or never for Hazard. Now that he's back in training, and Madrid ended their interest for this summer a week or so ago, I think he will enjoy playing Sarri-ball and he will realise that the Real Madrid ship has sailed. I'm pretty certain he will sign a new contract now.

I think Chelsea's medical team is far better than Arsenal's. It's no coincidence that Arsenal are filled with injury prone players. Ramsey will be better off with our medical team looking after him and he will compliment our team so much with Kante and Jorginho next to him.

Or they're waiting until Friday to bid by when Roman will have an excuse to not splash the Hazard money they get as our window has closed...........

I don’t think it’s now or never for Hazard and he doesn’t have to go to Real after this season he’ll have a year left and there will be interest from many clubs. PSG, Barca, Bayern and maybe even City could be interested. It depends on the season Chelsea have but right now it’s not looking so good.

What’s happening with Michu B? Is he back with the squad? Is he being loaned out again?
