Chelsea need a centre forward who is a threat unlike Morata. Thought for about 20 minutes in the first half you could see the change in Chelsea trying to play around the press. Jorghino was bossed by Foden and Citys press without the ball was better than Chelseas.
As a Chelsea fan you would be worried with that second half. They coudnt press because they were gassed and city drove a massive wedge between their defensive midfield and defenders. We really should of had 5 or 6 and Willy must of ran Sergio close for motm.

Or they're waiting until Friday to bid by when Roman will have an excuse to not splash the Hazard money they get as our window has closed...........

I don’t think it’s now or never for Hazard and he doesn’t have to go to Real after this season he’ll have a year left and there will be interest from many clubs. PSG, Barca, Bayern and maybe even City could be interested. It depends on the season Chelsea have but right now it’s not looking so good.

What’s happening with Michu B? Is he back with the squad? Is he being loaned out again?

He has had the chance to join PSG and flat-out refused. He has repeatedly said he has no interest in playing in the French league. He has also repeatedly said he only wants uproot his family, who are very happy and settled in London, to join Real Madrid - that is what I base my opinion on - of course things can change, but based on what I know of him and the thins he has said, it's Real Madrid or Chelsea, that's it.

Michy is still on holiday. Sarri said some encouraging things about him. I assume he will come back and be our #1 striker, as Morata has fluffed his lines massively in pre-season when he had the chance to convince Sarri, after long rest with no World Cup.

Jorinho was basically left holding the can on his own in midfield - Fabregas was useless when City had possession, Barkley just lacks the tactical awareness and discipline to play at this level. Would you not be worried that 3 weeks pre season and they are not interested in probably the most important part of Sari ball. Pep got rid of fans favourite Joe Hart after 3 weeks because he couldnt/wouldnt do what Pep wanted to implement

If Courtois goes, CFC have to sign another keeper. Willy is a good shot stopper but his distribution is not good enough.

I underestimated the amount of work Sarri needs to do on that side.

I rate him. He's a good finisher - miles better than Morata. It's such a travesty that Morata is a club-record signing - he is currently worse than Torres was back in 2012.

It'll be a miracle if Sari guides this side to a Top 4 finish - not that he's a bad manager - but that he's inherited a disinterested side that does not fit his play style at all; and God only knows what they do for quality players at center back - Luiz, Rudiger, Cahill, oh my!
