Communication is going to be Chelsea's problem. Especially with their new manager learning a new language and their new signings ( along with a new keeper who is better than Butland and Pickford but is still overpriced and will need time to settle in) having to adapt as well. They are most likely to miss out on a Champions League place.

I think Sarri's English is pretty good. It’s certainly better than Bobby Manc's was when he came to City.

Hard to judge on just one game. Don't forget at Napoli he had a lot of energetic runners to pick and pass to.

Indeed. But I've been making the point on here, particularly to the various goons who go on about 'press resistance' (vomit) that there is no such thing.

Kroos gets mugged, Busquets gets mugged, & yes, Fernandinho also gets mugged. In the Prem you get mugged more.

Jorginho, I have said all along, will get mugged. The question will be whether the amount he gets mugged, is balanced out by the number attacking moves he creates.

I also said he may end up playing with Fern rather than instead of him.

It's already looking to me, like he will need a minder in the Prem rather than playing Fern's role.

He was a foreign currency trader back in the day and visited London a lot. So probably not that difficult for him to adjust and get used to "Sports Journo" drivel.

I said there is a difference between a team doing it like City now do & a team merely doing it well.

Imo it should not be difficult for a squad of Chelsea's quality to quickly learn it to a decent standard. Half played for Barca, Real Madrid, Napoli & Brazil for a start.

It will still take him a while to get fully adjusted. He will not get that amount of time under Abramovich
