I thought Fabregas would be right up for this & a serious player for Sarri. He just appears to be a half arsed twat though & you would probably be better off getting rid.

You say half-arsed twat, I say he's just a guy whose legs have gone - he's giving everything he's got.His everything just isn't good enough anymore.

When we won the title in Conte's first season, he preferred Matic/Kante, and he used Fabregas a lot as an impact sub, and it worked wonders - something like that could work again here.

Yeah don't follow LA Liga much so didn't hear of him much. Nevertheless He is the second choice keeper for Spain ffs. There was even a poll by Spanish fans on who should be Spanish NT first choice and he and de gea came out almost dead even. That's how highly rated the guy is in Spain.

Abramovich never gives a manager any time. Even when they are hamstrung by Abramovich taking his time to sack the previous incumbent.

Doubt that. Unless he brings them close to relegation zone after half season is gone. By all accounts Ive read that when he started at Napoli, sarri warned the owner that initially the team will lose or draw many games as they adapt to his tactics and setup but once the machine gets fired up after 8th or ninth games, it will be beautiful. I'm sure he would have told Abramovich the same thing.

I haven't studied him but I just assumed that Sarri was signing a keeper who was great with his feet, and doing exactly what Pep has done with Ederson (Willy missed about 5 oportunities to play it to Jorginho on Sunday)

My research says otherwise, but I'm relying on other people's valuation of him, rather than having watched him myself. I have been told by numerous Spanish fans that he is excellent with his feet. We will see though.

I think Sarri will last a bit longer than that but I still think he is going to struggle to adapt.

This is very possible.
