Kompany being linked with Chelsea and Bayern Munich is incredible considering how bad of a job he did this season with Burnley
Did he do a bad job? Did you expect anything other than relegation for Burnley?

That Burnley side kompany inherited was heavily tipped for a back to back relegation when they went down after selling everybody worth more than a quid, kompany had no right getting them up straight away with the squad they had.

He spent a decent wedge and you can argue he didn't change it when things weren't working for him when he should have and that would be a fair criticism but he stuck to what he wants to be as a manager and they became a lot more competitive towards the end of the season. had it clicked half a dozen games sooner for them they'd have had every chance of staying up. He did a competent job with what he had to work with.

There's also the Pep effect. There's a clamor right now for every club to bring in somebody that's had even the smallest of pep influence.

Chelsea just can't help themselves, can they ? Finished the season with five straight wins. Momentum, team coming together then it's bye bye Poch.

Poch is a decent manager. Maybe 7/10 level. Not amazing, not spectacular, not a guaranteed trophy winner. But he is better than most and they can do worse.

It'll be interesting to see who's next - plus where Poch goes. Wouldn't be surprised if united went for him. He'd be an improvement on what they have.

He might have kept Burnley up, if it wasn’t for Murić fucking up more than once.

Trafford was the greater sinner.
I haven’t seen any of Trafford's mistakes, but I did see Aro allow the ball to roll under his foot, into the net, when Burnley were 1-0 up.

I was told by a Burnley supporter at the time that he’d done similar before.
