So, is Chelsea's model in buying players left right centre, to sell them at a profit to their own owners based in Saudi? I mean thats scandalous if true.

I cant believe they're going all out for City when that sort of stuff is happeneing.

It would be scandalous if it was true, but since it isn’t true, it isn’t scandalous.

Well what isn't true about it?

Like all city haters all iv got to go on is the pundits like neville (utd), carragher (lfc) who just stick the boot into every rival club on behalf of their own clubs.

Neville said it needs to be stopped immediately - Well dodgy, apparently.

Well for starters, you said ‘their own owners’ in Saudi, so there’s that.

I don’t think Neville even knows exactly what it is he is objecting to.

Yes according to football commentators Chelsea are ultimately invested in by SA PIF.

Meaning Boehlys 'wreckless spending' is actually a genius idea because he can sell those same players to SA at an inflated price using Chelsea's leverage with their own SA links.

That's about the top and tail of it. You say that's not true though? Any elaboration?

Yes that’s incorrect. PIF have investments managed by Clearlake, which is what they do, they manage investment funds. This all predates the Chelsea takeover. For example, they are also invested in Walmart, who is owned by Stan Kroenke’s wife’s family, so there’s a PIF/Arsenal business link too and they’re about to sell Partey to Saudi Arabia.

I say all of that to say, PIF do not own a single share in Chelsea. Boehly has engaged in business ventures in Saudi Arabia that involves PIF but his own business venture in some hotel chain.

So they would all be associated according to the new PL rules?

OK cheers, I'll bear that in mind when reading the coverage our media tend to give.

Think about everything that's been said about us over the years and how much of that is true and well-informed. Now apply that to Chelsea's current situation and imagine how much of that is probably true.

Chelsea constantly sell players for over the odds in dodgy dealings... Oscar, Lukaku, havertz will be next. Meanwhile we'd be lucky to get 40m for Bernardo one of the best in the world or even 30m for cancelo the best full back in the prem 2 years ago
Don’t be so bloody paranoid!
