Yet again, more possession, more shots, more shots on target than the opposition but LOST. Playing that well and losing should happen a couple of times a season, it's happening to us every other week. Really worrying, it is completely the opposite of what you need to do to win titles which is grind out results when you're playing badly. We need Kompany back and we need to stop the continual stepping up to play offside (IMO), it didn't cost us a goal tonight but we give away far too many chances doing it. Just fucking defend and stop pissing about.

We will be in the mix that is for sure, we just need to stay strong and cut out the silly mistakes

Some great football played, we have to remember it was Chelsea away

Stick with it , it will turn in our favour soon

I agree, I think we were excellent overall today. Perversely that is what is worrying me. If we can't get on a really good run when we are playing well, it doesn't bode well imo. We don't look like a side that is going to start digging in and grinding out the points to me, let's put it that way. We are reminding me of Arsenal over recent years, good team but when it comes to the crunch, too flaky. But I also see you're point, if we iron out a few issues at the back we would be far and away the best team in the country imo.

So Pellegrini snubbed Jose at the end. About time the snubbing shoe was on the other foot. Might also have something to do with Jose jumping around behind the away bench when Torres scored.

I wouldnt have shook his hand either..id have head butted him..

I thought celebration was way over the top and done for the cameras if you ask me. I can,t understand why he went that far. He not like they won the fucking league or something.

Don,t blame the city manager for not wanting to shake the mans hand.

I imiagine he will be feeling fucking awful.

Mourinho is a scumbag

His pre match comments and celebrations were disgraceful. Hope he gets what is coming to him.

You keep throwing away to many away games. keep on doing that and your be out of the title race by the new year.

Spare me any bollocks about luck. Under Hughes we conceded for fun, Mancini comes along and HALVES the goals we concede overnight with the exact same players, now we're conceding for fun again. It's time Mancini gets credit for how good our defence was.
Well our away form was hardly great under Mancini, apart from a honeymoon period at the start of the 2011-2012 season our away form has been disgraceful tbh.

You can see improvements though. We completely dominated against Villa and West Ham, grinded out a win in Moscow something we could never do in Europe under Mancini and we dominated for long periods today against a very good side.
Last season was a problem of too many draws, not too many losses. Under Mancini we lost five games last season - same as the rags, we've just spent £90 million on attacking players so it is logical that our attack would improve. Unfortunately, due to our defensive errors, after being the best defence for three seasons running, we are now the 11th best defence in the division. I think the evidence is there to call it a problem.

Honestly? Champions League, that's your comeback? CSKA were fucking shite. They are currently the fourth best team in their own city and were in terrible form having lost four out of five, drawing the other one. Last time we played a team that terrible away from home in the Champions League i.e. Villareal, we won. Mancini had two much tougher groups. However, if you're wanting so desperately to cling to the Champions League for some stick to beat Mancini with, try this one, we were fourteen games unbeaten at home in Europe under Mancini. So far under Pellegrini, it's one humiliating loss, so it's not best to get too fucking cocky eh?
Are you really comparing Villarreal a side who got relegated that season to CSKA moscow who won the double finishing ahead of Zenit who spent 100 million in the previous summer. We might have lost against Munich but at least it finally looks like we will qualify from the group. Europe wise Pellegrini is in another league to Mancini.

Away form is a concern but Mancini spent shitloads and couldn't solve the problem was even getting worse tbh, Sunderland, Stoke, Liverpool, Everton etc same teams every year we struggled against. At least it looks like we are improving under Pellegrini with every game.

Re: Mourinho is a scumbag

Please please let Crystal Palace or someone take his home record. He won't be expecting it and it will kick him in the bollocks more than it would have if baconface would have done it.

Because the picture in the papers tomorrow won't be of Torres celebrating it will be of Mourinho, the way he likes it.
