We have, Milner. No idea why Pelle thinks Garcia is better, didn't have an awful game today, but not a better option than Milner IMO.

Or the lad on loan at Everton.

Garcia had a good game. Won as much ball on the ground as any of our players and misplaced just one pass.

Utter nonsense. Garcia was invariably on the wrong side of the play when they attacked. Turned with no effort by their players whatsoever and unable to recover due to his snail-like speed. Gave away needless free kicks in dangerous areas. Took 3 touches to control a pass where others only needed 1 and could have seen red for his head-high elbow cynical block on Torres and was caught in possession more than once. His passing covers 5-10 yards therefore most could complete a high % of those.

All well and good saying we played well bottom line this was a big game and we failed when dominating! A draw would been a decent result we should of got our shape back and defended or just don't throw 90% of our team in Chelsea half

All well and good going for the win but a hoof up to our centre who is all in his own what does he do head it back to Hart easy hey? Oh no Hart is playing fly goalie!!

At 1-1 our discipline and shape is no where to be fucking seen!! It's keeganess Brian horteness it's win fcukallESS THATS WHAT IT IS!

You keep throwing away to many away games. keep on doing that and your be out of the title race by the new year.

Are you being a nob on purpose or is just a pre-requisite of supporting a southern team? Please don't come on a City forum gloating after a loss, it makes you look a total twat.

Well our away form was hardly great under Mancini, apart from a honeymoon period at the start of the 2011-2012 season our away form has been disgraceful tbh.

You can see improvements though. We completely dominated against Villa and West Ham, grinded out a win in Moscow something we could never do in Europe under Mancini and we dominated for long periods today against a very good side.
Last season was a problem of too many draws, not too many losses. Under Mancini we lost five games last season - same as the rags, we've just spent £90 million on attacking players so it is logical that our attack would improve. Unfortunately, due to our defensive errors, after being the best defence for three seasons running, we are now the 11th best defence in the division. I think the evidence is there to call it a problem.

Honestly? Champions League, that's your comeback? CSKA were fucking shite. They are currently the fourth best team in their own city and were in terrible form having lost four out of five, drawing the other one. Last time we played a team that terrible away from home in the Champions League i.e. Villareal, we won. Mancini had two much tougher groups. However, if you're wanting so desperately to cling to the Champions League for some stick to beat Mancini with, try this one, we were fourteen games unbeaten at home in Europe under Mancini. So far under Pellegrini, it's one humiliating loss, so it's not best to get too fucking cocky eh?
Are you really comparing Villarreal a side who got relegated that season to CSKA moscow who won the double finishing ahead of Zenit who spent 100 million in the previous summer. We might have lost against Munich but at least it finally looks like we will qualify from the group. Europe wise Pellegrini is in another league to Mancini.

Away form is a concern but Mancini spent shitloads and couldn't solve the problem was even getting worse tbh, Sunderland, Stoke, Liverpool, Everton etc same teams every year we struggled against. At least it looks like we are improving under Pellegrini with every game.
That's just not true is it ? improving every game under Pellegrini ? not a time to make jokes.

I agree with an earlier poster that, when Vinnie is back from injury, that he should be teamed up with Lescott. Nasty will no doubt be a great player for us in the future, but is all too often shown up with his lack of experience at this level, including giving away many unnecessary free kicks on the edge of our box.

When Pellegrini was appointed he promised us entertainment in abundance with non-stop attacking football, yet so far I have seen us attack no more than we did under Mancini - too much tiki-taka and not enough speed on the counter attack. When is this going to happen?

Generally a decent performance by us today though ruined by poor decision making by Joe, yet again.

Don't see why this gooner keeps gloating when Arsenals most difficult game so far has been against Spurs at home. Wait till they start actually playing decent oppositions and let's see how far we are then.

Aye because that's what he is there to do. Break up play and release the ball to the creative side of the team.
