I keep hearing that its not a good team,however,no one is providing reasons? Given our probable options on Sun,i believe it would be an effective unit.

Educate me otherwise.

If you need an explanation for why we shouldn't be playing that team then there is something going on inside your head that very few people on Earth will ever be able to understand.

when did you last win at their place? Thought you lost last season and haven't played their in the league yet this season? Drew in cup

I realised that as soon as I posted it but coming back from 2-0 there of all places felt like a win. The game at SB was like a formality as they looked dejected and defeated save for a spark in the second half.

I forgive you, and ultimately it did amount to a win!

how about the following:-

Micah has not played since Sept/Oct
Micah has only played about 3 times all season
Micah may or may not be fit, but he is certainly not match fit
Vinny is our key central defender
New back 4 for the first time this season in a key match when we don't have to
Micah has rarely played CB since Sven left

Apart from that, no issues

Id really like us to try this untested formation in a Semi final - it might just work you know. But, and its only a minor thing, I would play a goalkeeper, or am I looking at it the wrong way round? If so Aguerro in net could work so I'm all for it.

This, definitely.

I think this is the team most of us would be happy with. Hart maybe in goals but I wouldnt object to Pants keeping his FA cup place.

Tevez is not winger, our captain and best centre back is not a defensive midfielder, the Nasty and Micah combo's never been tried, Micah's just back from a long term injury and his best postion is as a right back.

1. No keeper - Might be difficult
2. Micah and Nasty have never played together at cb
3. Micah hasn't played for 24 weeks
4. Micah isn't a centre back
5. Kompany is our most important defender and leader
6. Kompany isn't as good in midfield
7. Tevez isn't a winger

other than that it's perfect
