Although I agree having a name/group isn't necessary it does help spread the word on social networks and engage people more.

I also feel we should wear colours but not official merchandise,this is something we could progress into.

This was the first gathering. many mishaps and hopefully this Movement will keep going and the mishaps can be ironed out.

I know how the Authentic Ultras run abroad and Citizens where off the mark but in time hopefully they won't be.

Everything has to start somewhere. it doesn't help however when a gang of pissed up lads come marching straight towards The Citizens having this: us vs. them" attitude... We're just a shit blue alliance,munich bastards, etc etc...

Not read the whole of this thread (sorry) BUT:

Well done to ANYONE willing to get up off their arse and go out in the cold to a game hardly anyone else is at to try to start improving atmospheres at City.

Shame we can't go back 30 odd years to some top terrace nights where ULTRA style gangs were not needed and gangs of blues (of which there were MANY separate mobs) would stick together mainly and create a mega atmosphere. (except for the robbing and violence)

We were young and many. That's what is different. Terraces, thousands of young City lads. Cheap entrance prices. Less well behaved working class lads I suppose too.

Disclaimer: I am probably thick as pig shit, old as fuck and irrelevant. I am also not a member of any NEW fan movement. I was there all those years ago when atmospheres were mainly better but not always great.

I think fair play to the citizens for trying to do something about our atmospheres. The blue alliance do get songs going and have flags and stuff like that and fair play to them aswel but I just don't understand why they don't help the citizens instead of going down last night and trying to outsing the citizens etc. fuckin help them were all blues that's what we have always been about. I hope the citizens do well and I don't see why anyone wouldn't. If you don't like what there doing just leave them to it, their not hurting anyone

Exactly, if they worked together it would be a lot more productive. We dont want divide, that will harm the atmosphere. Me and a few others are gonna go down to the next one and have a go. Loads of them flags would look the part.
