Villa away win 2-1 after going a goal down with Ward and Reid scoring was a great performance ( and result ).
We’d not won away for ages - and to do it whe it was live on TV was satisfying…..

Always loved the away win at Blackburn in 1995. They were league leaders and would go on and win the title but we went there are played them off the park. It was the kind of result and away performance that we just never seemed to pull off during this period. Flitcroft had 2 goals disallowed (one incorrectly) and Rosler hit the bar after chipping Flowers as well.
Always remember that one being one of the best from that era

I was there and did rate David White.Villa 1-5 City in '91 is always a favourite of mine, as went to it with a friend who was a big Villa fan, and he didn't rate David White at all.

I'm sure both us and Ipswich had gone up together and they did quite well, unfortunately we got relegated and that was the following season, Ipswich fans got really gobby about it and taking the piss, so it was a great game to shove one up their arses, on their own patch.
