City’s New Kits

Think a coloured badge would spoil it, well maybe not spoil but prefer the monochrome one on it.

How on Earth anyone would prefer a monochrome City badge over our actual badge on any kit is beyond me.

These god awful away and third kits we produce these days would at least be slightly improved if we had the normal badge colours on them.

You old Gok Wanners proper make me laugh when it comes to football shirts haha.

Okay. Anyway I was only talking about this black one not the other kits.If I prefer it I prefer it. No big deal.

I've seen the black kit and think I've seen the home kit (blue with white sash).
What's the other one?

Gok Wan?

From Casuals to Perry Boys, skinheads, mods, rockers, all the way back to Scuttlers in Industrial Manchester, working class city lads - usually those who like a good scrap - have been the leaders of fashion.

Anyone not into fashion, clothes, looking good are just slobs.

We want our football team wearing decent kits. It’s all about how the club is represented on the big stages, then when looking back through history how we looked when we won things. How can someone not be into that?

City rarely have nice kits, despite having the best and one of the lesser used kit colours… Lazio do sky blue better than we do.

Monochrome badges are bobbins on football kits.

Haha

People will always have an opinion but some people take it a bit too far where it becomes overly nitpicky.

Ultimately they’re designed for younger fans to buy and the designs need to be mixed up enough to sell 3 new shirts every year.

Can’t say a monochrome badge bothers me in the slightest as long as it fits in with the overall design concept of the shirt (black and white for example).

It’ll take something like that orange World Cup kit for me to go ‘no thanks!’ where as I know you get a bit obsessive over things like socks and badges.
