On the day city were on football Focus in the "champions" series Great memories Joe Mercer saying ," we won everything apart from the grand national

I purposely missed the game, it was a low point for me, for the first time I had questioned my support of City, my loyalty had been tested, probably the first home game I had missed in 15 to 20 years, but I had had enough. Thank god we won, I was at home and it was like being struck by lightning, I had purposely missed a match which we had won 10-1, that night I went out and sang about a game I hadn't been or seen, it never happened again, to think I could have missed everything that has happed since, that result rescued me, so I will always remember this game for kicking me where I needed Kicking.

This was another great day from that era.

Was at the game that day think that’s why I had a soft spot for you lot ........ pitch invasion fans shaking hands ........ then a year later our lovely neighbours L@&ds went to Bournemouth and wrecked the place ....... and folk cannot understand why they are disliked so much

I was in Belize ... I remember listening to the game on the World Service and running around the accommodation blocks relaying the score to others... There were quite a few blues there!! Good Times!!
At least you weren't in Raul's. I'd PVR'd the week before and left Germany on the friday. Stopped off for the 4-3 win at Swindon and then this one the week after. Considering i'd only done two games in the previous 14 months, this was a great week.
