you dont have the manager or can attract the players needed to reach that level. just because the money thing worked for chelsea doesnt mean it will for you. You can expect teams to take you to the cleaners for very good players next couple of years. You wont attract any great players

Really, and what great "established" players have L'Arse attracted lately? Arshavin would be the closest and even he has been hit and miss. Vermaelen certainly looks great but was not established as such before joining, much like Adam Johnson for us.

Also, we have "attracted" one of the top 10 forwards in the world, Carlos Tevez. Also, your marquee forward, Adebayor, who is much better than the donkey Bendtner who has replaced him.

We may add to that that Wenger will one day go, as will Fergie at United and who will replace these great managers?

Perhaps Jose? But are Arsenal a big enough club? They also seem to be a selling club at the moment and one that doest win trophies to boot.
