I'm forever...
Also went to that game it was 3-2 and we won the League that season 67/68,remember Lee with a great volley he got 2 that afternoon. Also back from Euston with my mates City team also on the train lots of them gambling with the cards.Went to Boleyn in 1967.
City won 4-2 & were applauded off the pitch.
We weren't applauded to our coaches though....fist fights all the way !!
Not such a special relationship then...over the years. The previous 2 games at Maine Road saw some of the worst trouble at the ground.
The first year West Ham had a big mob in the Main Stand doing the oakie cokie and congas.
They then congregated at the Platt Lane end of Maine Road and then charged at City and basically took liberties.
They tried it the following season only to find half of Moss Side turning up at full time and got the hiding of their lives
Bubbles is a City fan, top monkey.
Hammer time , let’s go
He's not an eponymous poster mate, he's always been very open about his name.I did congratulate bluehammer but he took offence, a post about the questionable morality of the nob head on day time TV (Holly’s presenter partner, can’t bring myself to post his name)
So, I still want the Hammers to win but if they don’t I’ve got a little bit of schadenfreude for our eponymous poster.
I think that was a West Ham game. Not such a special relationship then...over the years.
Wasn't there a City fan stabbed a few years back after a night game (?)
At The Etihad..,on the way back into town.
Fantastic atmosphere3-2 to us but an unbelievable atmosphere especially when Gabbiadini put them in front
I've never ever seen anything from Arsenal fans over the years but older fans say they had a right mob in the 70s1974 league cup final was the first time I can remember teaming up with W H fans against Arsenal and Millwall fans
Of course, it would also be good for the flappers to see another Italian side lose a final.Surely nobody would begrudge West Ham fans a trophy? Talk about long suffering…
