City bus scheme for home games - bus tracking (P91)

Trouble with that is you’d probably have to make it one or the other.

You couldn’t really have people paying cash at the first couple of stops and someone waiting at the next stop with a prepaid ticket and no one knowing if there’s going to be room for them.

Maybe once the trial is over and they’ve had to time to gauge interest, they’ll be able to review that.
Definitely, but paying in advance online is really easy these days. It's better than the match bus driving past blues at the bus stop because it's full.

If a bus sells out quickly, put another on. It's not rocket science.

Haha, I’m sure you do. Just suggesting an option and probably the reason why it starts in Shaw
That would mean a bus into Rochdale , tram from Rochdale to Shaw then bus to the game , hardly effective.
But its not a criticism at all im glad the club are doing something about it , and hope that it can be expanded in time. I shake my head at posts on here moaning about it , we've become very self entitled.
I do, however, remember the days if getting the 17 match special from Rochdale to Main Road back in the 80/90's funny how in this day and age that were 'thinking green ' it's harder to travel less distance

I actually suggested this idea in the Metrolink/matchday travel thread about a year ago, so I guess they might actually listen
Sods law, then, that the area I live in nowadays isn’t currently served by this. Though I’m sure more stops will be added as time goes on, if the demand is there
If anything its a damning indictment of the tram service that the buses mainly correspond to Metrolink stations.
Surely areas not already well served by the Met, like proper Salford, Leve, Longsight, Hulme, Heatons, Reddish etc should be catered for first?
