City bus scheme for home games - bus tracking (P91)

Route 14. If the Moston stop is moving to the Gardener's, could we have a stop at the Blue bell on Moston Lane too?
Sorry, it should have been MC15 in that first post that is changing. We're adding a stop at Gardener's Arms but retaining the St Mary's Rd/Arden Grove stop as well.
The new route is on the webpage - tfgm.com/mc15 - under the module 'Route map for Southampton and subsequent fixtures'.

@matchdaybus my friend has asked as he doesn't live near a stop he has to get bus to Middleton to catch match bus, would he be able to get a day saver?

No, unfortunately not. As these services are separate and not part of the wider Bee Network no other tickets or passes will be accepted.

Is there a problem with Bus 10 tonight?? My lad is waiting in Sale and it showed on the tracker reaching Sale early then turned back to Altrincham??

Hiya, yes was stuck in traffic trying to get to the start point. Currently operating 20 minutes late.

MC7 is also running 30 minutes behind schedule.

Sorry about this.

Still waiting at Hazel Grove and according to my brother it hasn't even arrived yet at New Mills

If it wasn't for the fact that I haven't missed a home European game at the Etihad I would have given up by now.

Shame because I was always pushing the idea of the match buses and the first time I've tried it they let me down

Also still waiting at Broadway for bus from Shaw. Any update @matchdaybus

We're trying to get hold of the drivers for an update for both services.

As soon as we can get through I'll update you on here and on our twitter.

I'm really sorry.

Did the new number 7 bus ever turn up?

Thankfully I fluked a late lift and just made the kick off. Others simply gave up.

Not sure I'll bother again, but for the sake of those hoping to catch the bus on Saturday at New Mills/Disley/High Lane/Hazel Grove/Great Moor, I think somebody needs to give a categoric assurance that this farce won't be repeated.

@matchdaybus - you never did manage an update. Seems 13 broke down and only two people used it arriving just after kick off. The rest of us used alternative means and Uber did well. At least it was there to go home.

The situation wasn’t helped by disappearance of service buses. The 186(?) was showing on app as 4 minutes away and then suddenly wasn’t there - and the ne r was due at 20:04!

That’s twice I’ve tried to use this service and twice I’ve not managed to - needs to be better if we are going to trust it.

@matchdaybus For MC12, why does the driver wait at Harpurhey for ten minutes after the scheduled departure time to then get caught in the traffic on Queens Road through Monsall meaning we arrive 15 mins late?

Secondly the old timetable was eg 18:10 Radcliffe then 18:40 Harpurhey (30 mins) and only just arrived on time when I used it, so I think the new 20 min allowance is ambitious, or is that typos on the website?

There were only 9 people on the bus last night, is there any feedback received as to why this route doesn’t seem very popular?
