City Charging West Brom fans £56

If you do the maths on the difference between this price, and a sensible price, say £35, and multiply it by 19 games, it wouldn't pay for a single transfer fee, and less than a years salary for just one of most of our players.

Therefore charging this price for this game alone has little or nothing to do with FFPR.

I tend to agree, this debate has been had before on ST rises, but if it makes no difference why do they do it? I'd like to think our board aren't just intent on wringing us dry so the numbers must matter to someone.

So what has it got to do with then in your opinion?

Hawthorns was £39 for me and £15 for young Master Bow.

£56 is well over the top.

38,000 season ticket holders, so add £100 to each ticket this summer, and the same thing applies, it might pay for a lesser players salary for a season, but not a major players, and is about 1/3 of an average players transfer fee.

Goes without saying considering our match day income was 35 million.

Where does the extra £30m+ come from ? Because even if we all paid £56 every week, its not £3m per game.

@cleavers Match day income includes city square, and £3m per game over 19 league games and 3 cl games minimum would be £66m before home games in the cups and pre seasons at the etihad.

Random number.

1000 WBA fans X £19(the difference between £39 and £56)

£17,000.

There you have it.

I'll be surprised if that number even travel now, given the ticket price, Monday Night, and being on TV.

I'm getting sick of the the argument that its all Ffp and platinis fault. If that was the case why are Dortmund charging barely anything for season tickets or match tickets same for bayern who regularly win there league and have some of e best players in the world - 110 quid for a season ticket.City do not have to rip us off match day revenue is nothing to us and barely makes an impact on how much we make.

It's just greed from the club. I hope one day we end up with half empty stadiums full of older man, maybe then they will start to take notice
