City Charging West Brom fans £56

It's a shame that we are in a position to need or want to charge any other football fans £56 to watch a game. Totally devoid of morales, much like PL football to be honest. It's all good supporting my team, which I do - but still it's ridicolous. If I'm stupid enough to pay it, others will.

Wait til ST prices released. Expect more of the same. They have screwed the blue member as much as they can now so ST holders will be next on the hit list.
Unfortunately this will be the case in some areas of the stadium, as they want them for corporate (level 2, east and colin bell), but they told us that a while back, they've also told us they're creating new areas that will be cheaper, though we know that there won't be that many cheap tickets, and most of us will be paying quite a bit more if we still want to go. Ultimately though its our own choice, if we want to keep going we'll have to pay, if we stop going they know they will fill the empty seats with wealthier "fans", whilst we have the best players.

No I don't like it either, in fact I posted it would happen soon after the take over, and was laughed at by some (remember the days when it was rumoured the owner was going to give us free season tickets ?), it is/was inevitable however.

As for the genius who says we need to do something about players wages, well that would be very easy, so lets make the maximum wage £10k per week, and see where we end up, it won't be in the CL that's for sure.

When we got Ripped off at Ajax they had the below banner (amongst others!) maybe something similar should be done at the Etihad?

Very easy to see why they are doing it.WB fans refuse to come at that price (rightly so IMO) therefore more tickets for City fans (I`m using that word carefully,as I`d be more inclined to use the word Plastics/Tourists) who unfortunately will be prepared to pay that amount if we are in with a shout of winning the league.
If thats the case its just morally wrong.

Stop talking crap. I would like to come to this game and bring my nephew who is the future of our support. Whether you are a superfan such as yourself or a plastic who has been going since he was 7 years old such as me, the pricing is prohibitive.

Well said fella. There really are some morons on here.

I remember you being laughed at at that time. Although I didn't laugh, I had faith that the vision Khaldoon espoused would become reality.

It seems you were correct and Khaldoons platitudes are now just that.

Home and away fans are starting to get ripped off now at our place, unless you have a ST (and they are going up every year too, with no price freeze in sight).

I said it months ago, Soriano is a financial genius but he and his pals will wring the fans for as much as possible.

£60 tickets for a rearranged fixture against Villa, because we may still have a chance of winning the league by then, says it all.

And as always, FFP is a poor excuse. Ask Bayern what impact non-VIP/corporate/hospitality ticket sales have on club revenue. I think they said "it's an amount we spent 5 minutes arguing over during transfer talks".

And don't compare us to Arsenal and Chelsea... look at the wages down there. If anything, they have more justification for charging home fans 60 quid than we do, because a Londoner on average earns £10,000-per-year more than up here (still doesn't excuse them ripping off away fans, though).

spot on about ffp. pisses me off when people say 'if you want to see the best players, you have yo pay more to afford them to come' no we don't, the money that the club receives from us a season would not pay towards sinclair and his wages for the year. Didn't they say at the time of the new tv deal that season tickets could be less than 300 quid each and all clubs will still make more money than the previous seasons. fact is ticket revenue in the big leagues means fuck all now. But us idiots will keep paying it and it will keep rising

Sadly this is the downside to Platinis ill thought out FFP.

His idiocy will just end up costing fans more and more. When the fans have gone what will the clown do then?

Im going watching our girls on sunday, ticket price is £2

Agree with this but it was the moneybags teams that voted for it e.g City, Chelsea, Man urinal etc and if memory serves only got passed by 1 vote at the EPL´S meeting
