City fans clamouring for Maureen's autograph

Loads of day trippers in CB level 2 today. It amazes me just how many ST holders don't go to these games.
Genuine day trippers or City fans shifted from the south stand to make way for the Chels?
Someone told me the genuine day trippers record huge chunks of the game on ipads and phone cameras which I thought was a good description until I saw a few doing the same at Spurs and Fulham. I'm not sure Spurs away midweek is the sort of game day trippers would go to.
There were lots of strangers in EL2 as well, as there often are for cup games. - Perhaps some in 210 will see me as a day tripper on Tuesday as I've been moved from my usual seat.

I thought it was an embarressment to watch . Complete sellouts, the lot if them .

Calm down mate, calm down!! Sell outs? What are people on about? It's a game, it's a sport - jose is a formidable opponent and rival who chooses to call us horrible names and say nasty things about us!! Well boo hoo how very upsetting for us!! Be nice to him, ask him for his autograph and remove his facade!

There were loads of tourists yesterday. Possibly the most I've ever seen at the Etihad, including ECL games.
Which is a bit worrying as we had to give an additional 3,000 to Chelsea.
So are our fans saving their cash for Wembley and the CL - nobody can deny football inflation is significantly greater than general inflation, or is our latent support a figment of the club's imagination meaning the increased capacity will be tourists only.
All the day trippers with zero points get to the front of the queue if those who claim to support us don't bother. Unless all the day trippers bought tickets on Viagra-Go.

Sky...the MEN, maureen, the SUN, sunday supplement...anyone else that doesnt say we are amazing with every breath brings out the precious yet again

as a support we are immature but we will grow up in the years to come
we struggle to handle critisism at the moment but it will come
I don't see it that way. We always took criticism well, but over the last 12-18 months we appear to have a lot of fans who've become 'Rag-ish' in their belief that we shouldn't be criticised - I used to slag those fuckers for that, and now we have plenty of fans who are going the same way . It's a poor state of affairs. We'll soon become as hated as the Filth if we keep it up.

The Ronnie Irani thing was funny, but some of the whingeing about Mourinho and some presenters on Talkshite, MOTD, Sunday Supplement etc, etc is bordering on rabid. The only thing I'd say is 'keep your sense of humour', and sense of perspective.

It's been an expensive season to follow City. You can't criticise some folk for giving yesterday a swerve. I think the increased capacity will comprise of lapsed blues in the main, but there's bound to be more tourists.

As a footnote I've just remembered that I got Terry Yorath's autograph when I was nine in the tunnel at Maine Road. I'm sure I could dig it out. I wonder if I could sell it on eBay for a few grand?

A City fan is a City fan whether for 50 years like me or 5 minutes like some. Why the hostilty to anyone who wants to watch Manchester City?

I quite enjoy the day trippers. Their sense of wonderment is something that is lost on those that have been going for years. There were plenty of them up in 305 taking pictures of each other with the pitch behind them etc, etc. I for one enjoy their almost child like delight in being at the game. Long may it continue.
