City Fans Leaving Early/Empty seats

Thats a big problem proper old school supporters priced out and pissed off with way the club is run off the pitch .cant fault what happens on it .
Don't know what old school supporters means but there are thousands of old fans at the Etihad that I presume have been going for decades, that's one of the problems not enough room to get groups of younger fans.

If so many young fans want to go to every game how come some on here keep discussing swathes of empty seats?

I really, really, really hope that you are being a WUM @blueparrot!! Or are you really suggesting that the 'old school supporters' who have been following this club for many, many years should now stop going so that the 'younger fans' can go? Because for definite sure there ain't no way I will stop going until I am in the grave!!!!! If the youngsters want to get together there is plenty of room for them, after all everyone is complaining about empty seats!!

What swathes of empty seats? The empty seats there are,are sold . I don't know if there are young fans that want to come but if there are they want to sit in groups of mates when they come. There aren't groups of seats available to buy that's why when we expand some blocks should be left for new s/c holders only, some blocks matchday only with no relocation so groups of new fans can be attracted.

No you've misunderstood. I was answering a post that said old fans or at least old school had stopped going. I was just pointing out they haven't. I'm saying there isn't room for groups of new fans because there aren't nearly as many spare seats some like to think there is and we need to extend to make room for new fans I'm not throwing you or myself for that matter out.

Yes there are many of the older generation still following City as pasionatly as ever but for many reasons a lot have also either stop ed going altogether or just pick and chose there games

Im sure a lot have given up or cut down for whatever reason but jsut look around at a game the majority haven't.

A lot of younger people don’t want to go as they have probably never been. Unless their dad or whoever took them, they couldn’t go as kids can’t go in without adults.

Back in the day there wasn’t much else to do and you could decide on the day whether to go or not, including aways. You could go on your own. Younger lads have more choice now. You can watch most games in the pub with your mates and have 7 pints for half the price of going to the game. If you don’t want to do that you can stream it on an app. From what I see when out, younger lads are more bothered about hugging each other and spraying their hair full of Hairspray then going out for a few cocktails than going to a game
