Nlo, we were not treated like that in Gelsenkirchen against Schalke. Police were suited and booted and removed their helmets to put a human face on it. You knew that as a statement of 'you all behave and we'll stay like this, step out of line and it's helmets on and batons out'. Excellent and efficient policing and organisation of transporting the away fans back to the train station was top class.
 
Indeed the Shalke police were hard as nails but human and were great with us. Took us to a bar rather than the fanzone and were smoking/chatting to us even with the pineapple incident on the coach to the ground.
 
Hope considering it's the age of the smartphone a couple of passers by caught this on camera. Absolute wankers.
