I'll admit, I googled to check. All these trophies get confusing at my age.We did that didnt we - forgot lol.
And that is why I am somewhere in the middle when it comes to the competiton.I like the Champions League but hate UEFA and those cunts at FIFA, The FA and The Premier Leagues are cunts too.

When I boo the Champions League music I`m showing my disgust of the corrupt organisation that run it and are trying to extend it for there own financial gain.
Even the over the top fanfare of a draw sickens me.
I've been very lukewarm about the CL. Didn't even bother going to the games for a couple of seasons. But I'm not ashamed to say I had tears in my eyes on Tuesday night. I just want us to win everything in sight, having waited so long to see us win anything.
And it helps that we beat the bastards at CAS plus I think we're entering a new era with our relationship with them. Probably go back on the CL scheme next season and looking forward to maybe doing some away games.
I agree with that, in general I think Ceferin has been good with us.

You see this is why this whole "I don't like the Champions League because I don't like UEFA" sentiment doesn't wash with me. In reality I believe a lot of it represents an inferiority complex, or Imposter Sydrome.I like the Champions League but hate UEFA and those cunts at FIFA, The FA and The Premier Leagues are cunts too.
The FA have always been a bunch of old white public school men, totally out of touch with reality, who have taken MCFC to task legally numerous times for bullshit reasons.
I've never heard anyone say they didn't want to take part in or win the FA Cup.
The Premier League was formed by all the biggest clubs to syphon all the revnue towards them. They've fucked about with kick off times and days and ignored matchday fans repeatedly. They've allowed their club to be run by the biggest clubs. Their referees are shit too.
I've never heard anyone sat they didn't want to win the Premier LEague.
It doesn't matter what you think of UEFA. Their trophy is the biggest and most prestigious of all and it has provided us with some of the best, most exciting games in our history already.

This thread just reaffirms that humans can be incredibly stubborn.
Everyone deep downs knows how big this is for the manager, the players, the club AND the fans.
Makes you wonder if they are equally dismissive of the importance of the Euro (UEFA) or the World Cup (Fifa)
