I enjoyed this thread as will many others who are too young to remember the fanzine movement. Please don't make us pull it because you cannot keep your insults to yourself.
I too have thoroughly enjoyed this thread. (even made a contibution way back (and got a cracking couple of music recommendations, by the way!!))
I would hate to see this thread pulled as, despite the already 18 pages, it still has potential.
It has potential to delve back into a time where City's football, on the whole, was woeful, yet our role as fans were - honestly - second to none.
We made our own entertainment, we had our own black humour and we had some of the finest fanzines around, at the time when the fanzine movement WAS a big thing.
It has been muted on here, that a book should be written on the whole scene, and specifically for us, our very own, self-proclaimed "fanzine war"
If, over time, the respective editors have built some bridges, then it would be a shame to burn them again......... BUT, I do find it infinately reassuring that two (the main two??) editors have taken time to comment on this thread (be it here, or via there own blog) because it just show's the passion that those two guys (and their contributors) had/have for their fanzines.......
..... and therefore, utimately their passion for City.
Which, is all of our one common denominator in all of this.
(AND...... they WERE good times, back in the day (aside of the quality of football...lol))
