Saw an American guy with his young daughter (9?) today in Central Park, she's wearing a City shirt. As they passed i looked again and of course it said "Haaland" on the back. Was on holiday in Croatia last week, and was surprised by how many European kids were wearing City shirts (all with Haaland on the back, of course). The brand is clearly growing.
Yes, and when I spoke to the dad and said "Maine Road?" he thought I was asking directions.Maybe its my lack of a sunny demeanor, but to me they are just United supporters with a Ronaldo No7 on their back! I bet none of their dad's have a No12 Darus Vassell on their washing lines
Nah, Celtic players are good catholics.s the father of the kids the same bloke
Never feel the need to justify yourself to anyone - least of all to some of the dickheads on here.I have sadly had some flak from fellow fans who assume I am a plastic fan, just because I live on the south coast. “Get a life” I say. i was indeed born in the south but my Mum and grandparents were born and bred in Saddleworth, and my grandad converted me to a City fan before I could spell. So I have seen City through the glory years with the Holy Trinity, and when I lived in Yorkshire I travelled hundreds of miles during the Swailes and Lee eras, I protested outside shouting “Swailes Out” and then had a long journey back to East Yorkshire many times. So I think I deserve a bit of slack. All I can say is I moved to Bournemouth for love and work in 2002, I think I saw four or five City shirts until around the Mancini era, and now they are everywhere, in fact they are more evident than the red tops.
Worrying times.I am on holiday in Saint-Marc-sur-Mer in South Brittany.
I saw a family going into our hotel’s restaurant today. There was a boy in the family wearing a City top with Haaland on the back.
