City games allegedly fixed

Do you believe me that the club commissioned a dossier in the 2011/12 season when they were alerted to issues?

Yes because you have no reason to make something like that up and quite a lot of your posts are sensible and informative.

I haven't read the thread on the dossier but what issues were they alerted to and by whom?

Was it about wholesale potential corruption or about the perception of us not getting the same treatment as other clubdfrom the officials

Sure but the game runs at a faster pace than it ever has and refs are human. I think a lot of people cry corruption when the truth is it's human error or poor judgement that is the cause.

Here's an example, the officials we had against Watford were 'favourable' to city. The same team were favourable to Chelsea in that infamous game against us. Now are we saying they are paid for hire, corrupt officials? Or is it not just more plauisable they are a bit shit?

In the game v Chelsea, the ref is clearly about to blow for the foul, then suddenly doesn't.

So much so, Chelsea almost pulled our pants down on the break as the City players half stopped seeing the ref about to blow.

We have always blamed the ref, due to his rag connections, but that decision, like the one to send off Walker, might have actually been made off the pitch.

This is why I think people on here asking for video reffing are basically turkeys asking for Christmas.

Those incidents such as v Liverpool & Watford, would mostly go against us & then the week after, the same decision would go in favour of Utd or Liverpool.

Hate the fact that 'people' can talk to the ref.

Had we been "good enough" in that game we'd have won it mate, we simply didn't put the ball in the net when we had numerous chances. Yes we were shafted by the officials in the game, but score when we should, and we still win it. Yes the red cards affected the following games too, but we won 2 of them, 1 against Arsenal included, the one we lost (Leicester) we were shite for 45 minutes (as well as shafted again by officials).
you can be the best side in the world but if ref decides you are going to lose you lose.

I appreciate it may not be advisable to put any further details on the public forum but if you could , would you please? Or if you have the time and inclination a PM please ? (Although I also understand that you don't know me from Adam so maybe not)

I'd bloody love to see that dossier I can well imagine what was in it.

That would be correct Bill but, if the case is that some games are already decided then why have no former or current linesmen, 4th officials, refs or even players ever come out and said that game x was rigged or referee x can be influenced?

You'd think by now that we'd have some concrete evidence to back corruption claims up. Those involved were greedy then and they'd be greedy now so if they were offered ££ for some dirt, they'd speak up.

I don't agree Bill, it wouldn't have made the slightest difference what the referee had decided at Feynoord or Watford, we were winning anyway.

I haven't said anywhere that I disagree with the idea that referee's are affecting our games, its become so obvious it can really be denied, and whether its a huge conspiracy or simple dislike of us I don't know, but I still feel that 95% of the time, if we do our job as footballers, we will still win.

The Chelsea game highlighted above was a particular case, because we still had more than enough chances to win the game, we just didn't take them. Its time we took the officials out of the equation, and I believe we will this year.

Millions of pounds are spent legally betting on PL games every week of the season.
A truck load more is spent in illegal betting.
Anyone who thinks every result from every one of the PL games played in the last 20 years is totally above board is living in Cloud Cuckoo Land.

The game v Norwich in 2013 (the real Norwich not the fake ones in Trafford) was reffed by someone I believe was named in the dossier. Early on he booked Tevez for a dive when he should have awarded us a penalty. In the end we blew them away but having had a ref I believe was highlighted as potentially suspect who made an early decision like that could have had more serious consequences.
