Yet we play most sides off the park week in week out and they are not the sky big 4 and we pick up far more yellow and red cards than the opposition.
Thats not refs not wanting to upset the establishment, it's refs wanting to suck up to them!
Sheer incompetence argument doesn't wash either because that would and should affect all clubs and both sides in a game but it very rarely does.
Finally you name 2 refs who you say seem to have a bit of an issue with the club? If thats not an admission something is amiss then i dont know what is?

Yeah, both rags, and they shouldn't be anywhere near any games that might influence the positions of either club, which is why they 'officially' support Altrincham and Bolton respectively. I think others don't like us either, for similar reasons, and that is why we get the shit end off a lot of them.I also think it's down to specific referees, rather than a concerted, collective effort against us. Lee Mason (Bolton) and Anthony Taylor (Wythenshawe), for instance, seemingly have a bit of an issue with the club for whatever reason.

But they also spectacularly failed to keep that secret, hence the scandal. It's always possible that the same could come out here but keeping a conspiracy like that quiet for long is impossible. Too many people involved. Same with FIFA, the stories were appearing long before the eventual crisis hit.

There's a difference between acknowledging that corruption in football exists, as it clearly does, and specifically accepting that there is a concerted effort amongst PL referees to cheat City. They are two separate arguments.
