City launch legal action against the Premier League | Unconfirmed reports that City have secured "potentially significant victory" (p 808)

Not according to the mindless sheep who believe anything spoon fed to them by the main stream and social media. In their controlled minds and thoughts it's the same thing and we're just trying delay the inevitable guilty verdict that they have already decided upon.

I really despair on today how fucking easily led the public can be by manipulative journalists, pundits and unqualified, so called sporting and financial "experts" with their lazy journalism and unsubstantiated claims.
See Maga and Trump.

Agree with you but in fairness to SOME people looking at the CAS verdict, they will always think " if you were completely innocent, why were you still fined 10m" ?
Don't get me started on the rabid majority who just bellow "cheats" no matter what
It is very clear that the fine is ONLY for non-cooperation.
The substantive case was lost by UEFA.

That’s the power of social media. It’s a modern day evil. Post something on X or whatever it’s called and it instantly becomes an irrefutable fact. Social media gives a voice to some people who shouldn’t have a voice. The other problem being we don’t have any PR strategy whatsoever. We just sit there and take the mountains of shit that gets thrown at us on a daily basis, without any form of rebuttal or without even attempting to defend ourselves. It does become very draining for us fans. That’s for sure.
This, as well as the problem being 'The bandwagon fallacy'.

If by posting something, you appeal to the majority, the likes and comments just compound, and before you know if what you have posted is taken as fact.

The majority (United/Liverpool/Arsenal/Spurs fans), want to see us found guilty, as it gives their clubs chance to take back what they think is rightfully theirs (spot the irony!).

What they don't want to see (and won't like/retweet), is someone giving a level-headed opinion on the facts, which is why most of them are quick to label Stefan as wearing blue tinted glasses etc.

If we are found to be successful with these legal cases, there is going to be a monumental fallout, never seen in the history of English football, as journalists find a way to spin the sh*t they've been writing for the last few years, whilst fans of those clubs find an excuse as to why the verdict must be wrong.

As others have said countless times, these journalists are largely stealing a living writing about stuff that they do know a bit about ie the stuff that goes on, on the pitch; we really are fucked as a country if we start believing that these clowns have any credibility when it comes to their opinions on the legal and financial side of the game.

Of course but that 'non-cooperation' phrase throws up all kinds of images for genuine people who haven't got access to the Bluemoon team of lawyers ha.
It's the old adage " no smoke without fire" for some

What utter fucking chaos. The EPL are totally incompetent and led by clowns. Something that could totally fuck up their PSR rules and they’re basically split 50/50 ! And City have them in arbitration starting Monday :)
How much longer can that ass-clown Masters hang on ?

How is that Masters fault?

You’d expect any competent CEO to “read the room” of his twenty shareholders and basically know where the votes would go on contentious matters. He’s a fucking clown and has presided over/caused chaos.

Ah. I still think that’s a bigger issue with the clubs themselves and why the regulation should be taken out of both his and their hands.

In family dynasties many roles are ' ceremonial' but significant in the hierarchy and public perception.

They are usually in place to prevent coupes from developing.

Sheikh Mansour is a significant figure in the current UAE hierarchy but a very regular guy when out with his family and mates.

One of his wives is a daughter of Muhammad Maktoum leader of Dubai.

That's what happened with the Deputy PM and the Vice President roles in the UAE. Sheikh Zayed, the founder of the UAE and Sheikh Mansour's Dad negotiated the tribes coming together in the first place and divvied up different roles for different families. DPM was a shared role between two families. The Vice President was more interesting because it was supposed to be the "other" family from the President. So the Al Nayhan's had the Presidency while the Al Maktoum's had the Vice Presidency, representing the two most powerful tribes/families in the UAE at formation.

Sheikh Mohammed, the current President and Mansour's elder brother, broke with this tradition/promises and created the Vice Presidency as a shared role now where there's an Al Nayhan (Mansour) and an Al Maktoum (Mohammed Al Maktoum from the Dubai ruling family) who jointly perform it. This is important because the VP position was always promised to the ruler of Dubai alone.

Many see this as a power grab, some others see this as a punishment for the Dubai financial crisis in 2009 whereby the Emirate almost fell into bankruptcy and had to be bailed out by Abu Dhabi which hurt the image of the UAE to investors. Punishment in 2022 for events in 2009 are not considered a particularly long wait for "revenge" in these types of cultures. One of the reasons that I always remind people that Abu Dhabi and the slander they've suffered through Man City won't be forgotten, they just don't react quickly but they'll make their move eventually. It might be two decades but they have long memories of this stuff.

The whole way the Premier League is run is corrupt as fuck.

Who proposes rule changes? Is it Masters, the red top puppet? Is it the premier league clubs themselves? Is that why John Henry, the Glazer family and others were pictured dining together? Who decides what is voted upon?

The associated party transactions are a stroke of genius as they give total control to the Premier League as to which team benefits and which teams don’t. The Premier League decides what is and isn’t an associated party.

Then the Premier League send details of the APT to Neilson Sports, a data analytics company, employed by the Premier League to decide whether the deal is fair market value or not. Which is open to all sorts of corrupt practices like, there’s a bonus in this if you say it’s not fair value. Sponsorship rejected!

Or Ineos decide to sponsor utd’s training kit for £150m a year, associated party, let’s refer it to our retained data analytics company, big bonus if you pass this as fair market value.

It all stinks.

It really is the tyranny of the majority. Kieron McGuire jokingly said that the Premier League could get 14 votes to ensure that City are not allowed to play in sky blue, won’t happen because it would expose the cartel and the PL for what it is, a corrupt cesspit of vipers.

Cunts.
