As some of you may know, the Premier league have recently launched their Fan Engagement Standard as part of a beefed up approach across the league to fan representation. The brief policy is worth reading and outlines what will be expected of each club:

Pertinently, clubs will be required to publish a Fan Engagement Plan at the start of each season outlining what their fan groups will be covering over the course of the season. At the end of the season, it is my understanding that a progress report will be published independently via the fan group (so City Matters) on progress and their satisfaction with the club. The club will also face scrutiny from an independent commission into the extent of their fan engagement.
In addition, clubs are expected to publish a Terms of Reference for how their fan group will operate. This is something that I have been pushing for City Matters to have since I joined the group. At our meeting with the club last night, we went through a draft version of the ToR and it should hopefully be published soon.
Edit: To add, some of the things that will be contained within the ToR are minimum standards for the publishing of minutes.
