After reading some of the threads today, and some of the wankers Ive met in the ground. I hate alot of our fans haha

Think this was you as well.

Ive actually know you to be a decent poster, fuck knows what's gone on in you head tonight. But when you read back tomorrow you will be embarrassed. And yes I do hate alot of our fans the negativity towards our manager's/player's knocks me sick sometimes. Held us back for years.

Cut and paste being easy ;o)

Its quite sad to think you were actually using that description to describe fellow blues.

Do you really believe there are no "no-mark" dick heads amongst our support. Dont be so holy. Do you really think there are no wankers in the 47000 that turn up. Dont be silly. There are plenty of wankers in the world but they are all "fellow human beings" ffs.

What the fuck are you on about?

You are unfathomably daft. If you were to take your head out of your arse for a second, you might be able to see why the club, as generous as the city square project might be, have nonetheless failed to connect with a large majority of the club's lifeblood on this whole pricing issue.

You said that in my post I implied that I had a personal problem with Bladdered.

No I asked why you had a problem with someone who did want a few pints before the game, not bladdered personally. I've no idea of your history watching City, but for many, in fact the majority, that was part of going to the football, part of the much laboured expression "experience", its not a theme park, its a football match, thousands go, many "experience" it different ways, you implied there was something wrong with people who have a few pints.

As for....

Must be all that cheap beer ur suppin.
Just a cheap jibe, which failed to find its mark.

I don't however see much response to the reasoned argument as to why City might want to rethink the pricing, if they do actually want to create extra revenue from this "experience", which as jrb points out above was supposed to be the original idea behind it.

Its difficult to get through to you isnt it. In your world (it seems to me) the experience of a football match revolves around gettin pissed. In my experience that is usually at the expense of others enjoyment. The pricing policy of City Square IMO gives us the best of both worlds. Those wanting to get bevvied up can continue to do so at their preffered watering hole. At the same time, those wanting a different experience can do so in City Square. I would not take children to the pubs around but now have another option. What is the problem.

So by your logic its ok for family goer's to pay extortionate prices for food and beer aswell?
Just aslong as it keeps the riff raff out.

No, and no, but the discussion was about "City Square", not "pissed up no marks", something which if I remember you introduced into the discussion about pricing when you explained you didn't want people who'd had a few pints in "City Square".

By the way, some of your subsequent replies quoting other posters posts, that are nothing to do with this forum, let alone this discussion, are winning you no friends, and quite frankly I'd be embarrased by them even if I'd a few drinks myself.

LMFAO. No wonder the decent people with the kids leave early.

Do you not see why people think you are a dick?

Oh dear, since you are now my shrink, I feel I ought to point out that I don't think I've ever been "pissed" at a City game, well OK I can think of once, but that's because it was a special occasion, I do hope that was OK by you (and you have the cheek to call me "holy").

Time to move on from the discussion because you're not really interested in the whole discussion are you ?

I think that City Square isn't all about taking more money or enticing people from the pubs around the ground. I think it's aimed at families. The people who don't want to take their kids into the pubs. These people will be the ones who are on the concourse before the game because they had nowhere to go with their kids who are the next generation of City fan. Kids these days won't settle for being bored waiting for dad to have his pint. They need something different to keep their interest. The club have put this in to improve their match day experience. The dads can still have a pint and that but the kids aren't all stuck in a grey concourse bored shitless waiting for kickoff. If you are one of the people complaining that the price is the same as in the ground then maybe this isn't aimed at you. Maybe the club will be happy with you having a few beers down the road and saving a few quid just the same as you've always done but don't put them down because they are improving things for the people who don't.

This thread is hilarious!!

Can I join in?

WTF have you got against suits? Are you saying that a suit wearer can't be a no mark? Can't anybody in a suit also get pissed up? Can they also stop people getting a kickin?
Fucking suitist's - do my head in.

For those complaining about the prices - there's a thread on here that includes the cost of beer in Rumania - you could always try there before a game. Start a thread about how Mary D's are ripping you off too.

If you don't like the prices City are charging then don't pay them - it's very fucking simple. But don't start slagging the club off for doing something for fans who want a different game day experience.
