City To Be Presented With The PL Trophy If Champions On Sunday

Oh give over! Shellfish! ;-)

What about the f"cking PL and their 100+ trumped up charges against City, appeasing the red shirt clubs. What about those consequences? They're already throwing the book at us, so f*ck them!
Now if you supported united, your actions would have no consequences. But this is city and we don't get treated the same as they do, on or off the field.

Playing devils advocate.

If Arsenal either lose or draw at Forest, Pep and the players could via the club ask the fans not to invade the pitch and to stay in their seats.

And as a thank you, Pep, the players and the coaching staff can do the lap of honour, stop in-front of the stands, take the applause, acclaim and chants. I’d love nothing more. Especially for Pep.

If I’m honest, and I’m not a horrible or miserable b@stard, I don’t want to see the wife’s, girlfriends and kids walking and running around the pitch with Pep and the players at the same time. It all ends up in a mish-mash with Pep and the players getting distracted, etc. If Pep and the players want to walk around the pitch again with the wife’s, girlfriends and kids they can do that. As a City fan I just want to see Pep and the players. The coaching staff can join them as they’re part of the title success. Hopefully. :-)
You don't want players' kids on the pitch but you can go on. No hypocrisy there at all, obviously.

Only time I went on the pitch was at Maine Road after the Friday night "nearly promotion" game v. Birmingham. Players were all gone so for about five minutes I could pretend I was Uwe Rosler, then thought right, let's get to the bus stop and go home. A couple of years later when City got relegated there was an angrier "invasion" with fans confronting the Chelsea team. The last couple of seasons it's all looked a bit naff, people running on the pitch while the players were trying to get off it quickly and not have their backs thumped or be grabbed by a drunk. Expect some in the crowd will try that again on Sunday, expect some will find their season tickets have been withdrawn a few days later.

I've been on a couple of times at MR, Charlton and Birmingham games & did it at the West ham game.

As I'm in SS3 there's no option now but, with this title not being a 'big bang' win I'd not expect the same volume to try it anyway this time. Maybe a couple of thousand will go for it but if as usual the stewards don't do anything loads will probably amble on.

It does look ace from high up but, the club won't want it to happen and usually it takes too long to clear.

Out of many pitch invasions over the years, only once the cross bar got broken. The goal keeper got brushed past nothing more.

Thousands of blues making forever memories and celebrating with the players is great to see you. It will probably die out in the few years as football gets more sanitised
It should die out now, before something more serious does happen. What happened at the other pitch invasions matters little because of what happened at the most-recent one. All it takes is one idiot and we're in serious trouble. The club are fully aware of this and won't take it lightly this time. If there is a pitch invasion and something bad happens (just one thing), you can be sure that the club will be issuing bans out like confetti. They won't be doing this just to punish our own fans, but to demonstrate to the FA that we now take these things seriously and have done all we can to handle it internally. This might serve as mitigation if we are punished.

Some people on this thread how can they be so miserable at a moment like this
Because we don't want anything that might take the shine off a great day and hopefully a season to truly remember.

Just interested to know why people don't respect the repeated wishes of the club when it comes to this matter. Are the club and the players miserable bastards too then?
