Fantastic win, best atmosphere in ages, says it all when you can win a local derby beating the reigning champions 4-1 and you basically chill out for the last 40 minutes of the match.

It was a huge week and Pellegrini and the boys have delivered in spades, onwards from here on in.

The first 60 minutes was probably the best we've played for 2 years. We had everything, skill, pace, physical strength, superb football and total determination to win. All our big players came to the party today, not least YaYa who was quite incredible. Kompany is the best defender in the PL without question and Aguero was world class. Another high quality performance for Nasri to carry on from where he left off v Plzen. We've found our best corner take too in Samir - everyone was on the money today and he and YaYa clearly enjoy playing together. Negredo really did a superb job today leading the line. Word on Kolarov - we all know he can't defend but he was heavily involved in the first and third goals today so credit where it's due.

Top performance all round and a delightful day to behold.

Epic victory! They were hammered by superior skill, speed and strength-brains too, as MP is different class tactically to Moyes. He surprised them in both selection and deployment, picking Negredo to intimidate their central defence and using Navas' pace defensively to deny them room for breakaways. When Busby quit after a long reign, they were out of it for years with flops like McGuinness and O' Farrell, who were chosen by Busby like Ferguson chose Moyes-so his legacy wouldn't be overshadowed !
