I like how when Yaya scores his goal and the ball rolls out the net towards de gay, he just starts doing keepy-ups like he just doesn't give a shit :)

Yeah I noticed that, well weird

Probably already been mentioned in the flood of posts on here since 6pm yesterday evening (!), but fuck it; I'll take my chances. Just been watching the slow motion video of the goals on the OS, and one thing struck me. Watching the fourth goal and the camera trained on Jesus as he made his way into the vermin's penalty area; before he crosses the ball, he look across 4 times to see if there's a free man to cross to;

Now I know it may not seem much to get excited by, but ask any seasoned blue how many times he's seen aimless crosses fired into the box when there's been no-one there to get on the end of them. TOO BLOODY MANY TO COUNT!! It makes a nice change to see a player actually thinking about what he's going to do with the ball when he's out wide. That is all. As you were.

First time he looks up to check how many scum defenders.
second time he looks up to see how many City players running into box.
Third time he looks up to see vinny running towards near post and Alvaro near penalty spot.
4th time he looks up and sees Samir's unchallenged run to the box so places an inch perfect pass for samir to score Citys 3rd volley of the day:)

'Bonnet de douche' as Del Trotter would say..

A great team goal.

I only noticed on the slo-mo replay Negredo ducking at the last minute for Nasri. But the space at the back post had been made by Kompanys run to the near post.

Same ere mate

Other strikers who are either 1.) greedier or 2.) less intelligent would have tried to head that and fucked it up. Well done Negredo for showing the composure and quick thinking to duck it. Teamwork

1st goal stiood out for a simply but oh so very effective backheel from Nasri to Kolarov.

2nd goal stood out for Smalling completely mistiming his header and Fellaini completely losing Yaya.

3rd goal stood out for Nasri looking at another direction to where he played the ball, than Negredo controlling, turning back and without looking up, played the ball across goal as to expect Aguerro to do his job and poke. Aguerro did. That was simply fantastic.

4th goal stood out for Navas to actually look up and pick the one player free in front of goal with Negredo, again without looking, who kept his head down to try and make sure he didn't touch it. As if he knew any cross from Navas would land at the feet of a City-player.

Just details ...

Was talking to a photographer that I know who was working at the game yesterday. More importantly it was also the first time he had been and worked the Etihad. His exact quote to me was

"I have never heard a crowd like that before, the noise was that loud you could not even speak to the guy working next to you. And when that first goal went in that was just insane"

What makes it better, he is a Rag.

Ladies and Gentlemen.

A comment on the guardian:

Cleverley still has a 100% record v city. (he came on and Utd scored so technically 1-0 to Utd in his "game"). He's been the difference in those games and his mobility & quick passing has been a thorn in Toure's sides. If he started, the end result may have been different.

Brilliant.

Brilliant indeed if you watch Yaya putting Clevery aside as if he was a wasp trying to bother him. Hardly a thorn in a period of the game that we let them have the ball and loosened things up a bit due to the scoreline and the fact the whole of the Etihad -apart from a small part- were celebrating.

I expect Nasri gave him a shout

A mate at work - Bradford supporter - told me this morning that someone he knows put a fiver on Agüero first scorer and 4-1.

Odds?

250/1!

Not a bad return

great story fella. :)

Was moaning when Jesus crossed the ball to the back. Thought he fucked it up. Was wanting him to just leather it across goal.

Shows we finally have a decent winger who looks for a pass
